It's amazing how easily DDD destroys every SU post. No wonder the guy doesn't show up around here very often anymore.

Quantity does not always equal quality. But in this case, it does. SeattleUte has undoubtedly been the #1 poster in what is undoubtedly the #1 thread on this website.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Postyou have posted in this thread more than almost anybody else that has posted in it. I think you are about Top 10 by post count. Also, you have posted in this thread more than any other Ute.
For example, consider this gem from Page 1:
If you can't appreciate SU's contributions to this thread, you will never understand his genius ("We'll see if there are any tweets and what they say."Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostOkay, I'll stick my neck out. If I had to wager I'd say that BYU will not go to the Big 12 (for a variety of reasons). But this isn't a strong feeling. We'll see if there are any tweets and what they say, and what if anything develops.
As I've stated, my personal strong preference is BYU goes to the Big 12.

His most infamous contribution has proven to be of a Nostradamus quality:Originally posted by Applejack View PostIf you can't appreciate SU's contributions to this thread, you will never understand his genius ("We'll see if there are any tweets and what they say."

In essence, SeattleUte predicted long ago that BYU will either get into the B12 or it wont and today he comes back to triumphantly SWISH to a well-deserved "told ya so."Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostThis thread will either become the largest one of all time on Cuf, or stand as a silent rebuke and mockery of BYU fans' most fervent hopes and dreams.Fitter. SU and DDD are two characters played by the same person.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostIt's amazing how easily DDD destroys every SU post. Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.

I know them both, and trust me, they're not. Let's just say that if DDD was the drinking type, he wouldn't be caught dead with an Appletini in his hand.Originally posted by snowcat View PostSU and DDD are two characters played by the same person. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

I just reread Page 1 of this multi-volume thread. Lots of good stuff:
- CMBF and Uncle Ted doubt TCU will ever get a Big 12 invite.
- Brandon Gurney is tweeting about Tom Holmoe travelling to Dallas - everyone rushes to follow him.
- LAUte doubts that Memphis will get into the SEC (swish!).

i dont know if you've been here long enough to enjoy CMBF's "predictions," but his accuracy isnt limited to college sports. He was convinced of a Mitt Romney electoral victory for years and also was a fan of Community (completely off the air after only a few seasons) and disliked Big Bang Theory (continually one of the most-watched and highest-rated TV shows on air today and also winner of multiple Emmy awards). I think he also still watches Conan, although that might be Commando.Originally posted by Applejack View PostI just reread Page 1 of this multi-volume thread. Lots of good stuff:

He makes a good point, the other 4 P5 conferences should be totally pissed that they don't have to play a championship game. Let's hope that both Baylor and TCU make it into the playoff.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View Post

Expansion on the horizon?
http://espn.go.com/college-football/...yoff-committee
There is legitimate concern among Big 12 members that the league will be forgotten on the final weekend of the season, the only time the committee will meet on Saturday and Sunday instead of Monday and Tuesday. The selection committee will be holed up in Grapevine, discussing Friday's Pac-12 title game result and glued to title games in the ACC, Big Ten and SEC. The Big 12 slate that day: K-State at Baylor, Iowa State at TCU and Oklahoma State at Oklahoma.
Big 12 decision makers, both at HQ and across the 10 campuses, say they will have a close eye on the committee the first few years to see what factors it seems to favor. Should "championships won" tip the scales away from the Big 12, then the league will have to strongly consider adding two more teams to split into divisions. Which is why programs like East Carolina, Marshall and even BYU, which are stuck outside the Power 5 with slim playoff hopes, are updating their résumés for potential Big 12 auditions ... just in case.

Missouri AD thinks of BYU as a P5 team already.Greg Wrubell @gregwrubell ·
Mizzou Exec Assoc AD on BYU:"In our mind, they’re a P5 opponent...it will absolutely present a challenge to our program. We recognize that."
Greg Wrubell @gregwrubell ·
(cont): "we also recognize that you need to be playing those types of opponents as you try to vie for playoff contention, things like that."
