What was it like to experience the concourse of angels during the PAC rapture?
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

For such a bright guy you sure can be obtuse. Congrats on your elevation. You are surely worthy of the high standing in which you now find yourself.

Once again why do you care about revenue? Is there some sort of profit sharing where Utah is going to give money to the fans?

Revenue means nothing for the fans.

My post was TIC, but I will take the compliment anyway. Thank you.

Why are you pursuing precisely the same thing? Would you not be thrilled to see byu's athletic department awash with a new source of revenue? As much as we all claim it doesn't matter, getting more money into the dept leads to many improvements in the overall player (and fan) experience.

And I never claimed to be 'elevated' above anybody, quit being such a grammar lawyer.

That is bull and you know it. More money into the athletic department is always a good thing (so long as they are responsible with it).

The share of the PAC-12 conference game alone is better than anything the U ever received from the MWC. It is already a step in the right direction.

That's not grammar, that's content. If you dont think it is eleveated then dont say it is elevated. I find that elitist attitude to be highly annoying, as did most Ute fans until last year. While I would be very pleased and relieved if BYU gets into an AQ conference, I would never describe it as an elevation, even if others do, as the premises behind the use of that word are incoorect and unjustified, in my opinion.

I thought Bobby Roscoe came as a baptized, albeit inactive, mormon. However, clearly he was "converted" at the BYU as his RM girlfriend probably informed him the price he must pay for a chance to tap it. BYU has enough money, my source of excitement, and potential misery, is the better home schedule. I also want to believe in my heart that it will improve BYU's recruiting of non-LDS skill players and I will believe it until overwhelming and indisputable evidence proves otherwise!

Fine. Numbers and physical sciences are my game, and words are definitely my weakness. I will defer to your strength and restate my point.

"Utah should tank all of their remaining games just to ensure no non-AQ team is ever laterally shifted, possibly downward (in quality), possibly upward (monetarily, but not necessarily in quality, and certainly not to hurt anybody's feel-bads), into an AQ conference that will guarantee them more money. Even if it may be a worse situation than the one they are currently in, despite the fact that they will have be playing great teams week in and week out throughout the season."

                          Better?

To be honest we are not comparing apples to apples here. Utah would be 8-4 with a MWC schedule this year and will most likely be 6-6 in the Pac. So in reality the undefeated season does not happen either way.

FWIW, I'm excited about the potential of increased revenue: better facilities that are attractive to better recruits, which may result in better teams. That being said, this is BYU, and the Ath. Dept. may not have much say as to where and how the revenue is allocated/used.

A source of contention for people like me who grew up watching Utah 'make do' with whatever paltry sums of money they could scrape together plus big lump sums from a few named donors, while byu seemed to have a limitless pocketbook for improvements, facilities, etc, PLUS the big lump sums from named donors.

I totally agree. Having big name teams playing at the home field is one of the greatest things we can hope to see as fans. Beating them is an added benefit and one that is spoken of with great excitement for years to come (a la Miami in Provo in 1990, TCU in SLC in 1998, plus numerous other examples for each team - am I right?).
