I've suggested that we have a CUF Gordon Monson competition. The posters on the board have 10 minutes to write a column that resembles something coming from G-Mo.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Next year is a leap year so you could probably pop by as early as September 9, 2012. I wouldn't make much of a fuss but I can't speak for some of the hardliners here.Originally posted by Viking View PostWell, I'm preparing to say goodbye. We need to pull a Ken Starr and block Viking's exit.
Here's a different rumor/opinion:
A&M to the SEC in spite of litigation threat, assessing that the likelihood of a successful suit is low.
Oklahoma determined to evaluate its options.
Baylor & the rest of the B-12 castoffs to the BigEast, in case of B-12 demise.

I'll expand that and tell Viking that he can send any poster anything he wants posted and they'll do it. I'll start a thread in the chit-chat forum for Viking's proxy posts.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostYou are welcome to send me anything you want posted, I will post on your behalf.Part of it is based on academic grounds. The Big East is the sluttiest BCS conference out there. They'll take anyone and everyone. This move would put them up to at least 20 teams if not 22. Yeah, the Big East gets around.Originally posted by Ma'ake View PostWe need to pull a Ken Starr and block Viking's exit.

We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. I'm assuming the Big-East would lose a few teams to the ACC & Big-10, but the anti-Super Conference struggle would move to Big East as the harbor of BCS teams that couldn't get into the preferred 4 SCs.
But that's thinking down the road a ways. We don't even know what's going to happen in the next 30 minutes... if anything.

May be slutty... but still good-lookin, and we totally would've hit that if it were any closer. We already did the WAC, the unattractive one who will do anybody, anywhere, anytime.Originally posted by Moliere View PostThe Big East is the sluttiest BCS conference out there. More from Wilner:
GO, RED LEGGER, GO!!!!!Per sources: B12 still has pulse. Kansas schools successfully playing leverage game. When Manhattan says jump, Austin says how high?Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Can't wait to hear a Jayhawk response to how high a Wildcat says to jump. As a Nebraska fan, I always liked Kansas. Perhaps because it was understood that the beating Nebraska delivered on the gridiron were returned in kind by the Jayhawks on the basketball floor.Originally posted by myboynoah View PostMore from Wilner:

I'll miss the Nebraska-Kansas rivalry - one of the longest in football. I won't miss EMAW.“Not the victory but the action. Not the goal but the game. In the deed the glory.”
