It seems to me no one is too upset about them leaving as long as it doesn't collapse the conference.

Look at niku's last two emphasis added quotes from you. You deliberately insult me, and then tell me to drop it because we cheer for the same team?

      • Pickens was very direct and straightforward: ATM isn't going anywhere, the Big 12 is staying together, there will be revenue sharing in the B12, no mention of BYU.

You are familiar with Pickens history of public predictions, right?

I, for one, totally expected him to mention BYU in that interview tonight.

Why would he mention BYU when he doesn't even know where Provo is?

I think it is tepm. I say they leave in two years now. I don't believe the SEC is ready for them just yet. I think the SEC wants VT but shot down so have decided to hold off a little for now.

They knew the smaller schools in the BIG 12 would never sign Aggy's permission slip.

I hope we are headed to 12 teams or at least 11 teams with you guys.

I expected him to read up on the Provo/Orem area, learn of all the great things that area has to offer a visiting football team, then break the news during the Oklahoma State/Arizona game tonight. Perfect time and place, right?

Ever been to Hannibal Missouri?... the town hero, was also the consistently arrested town drunk (Mark Twain). I always felt that might be the armpit of the midwest, right on the stinky part of the Mississippi.
