So now ESPN is reporting that eight Big 12 schools are now refusing to give up their rights to sue. The lone holdout: OK.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

Perhaps this entire episode of flirtation with the PAC-12 was simply a move by OU to extract a better arrangement with Texas/B12."There is no creature more arrogant than a self-righteous libertarian on the web, am I right? Those folks are just intolerable."

Such a cynical view. Where is your faith in humanity?Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostPerhaps this entire episode of flirtation with the PAC-12 was simply a move by OU to extract a better arrangement with Texas/B12.

You realize it's the USC Trojans, and not the USC Gamecocks the Utes are playing this week, don't you?Originally posted by LA Ute View PostSuch a cynical view. Where is your faith in humanity?

The Coach suggests here that it is about first tier rights and ensuring equal shares under a new contract in 2014. That would make a lot of sense out of what we've seen going on.Originally posted by Jeff Lebowski View PostPerhaps this entire episode of flirtation with the PAC-12 was simply a move by OU to extract a better arrangement with Texas/B12.
I still wonder how stable a recovered Big 12 will be.Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

If they are getting booted, where are the grounds for a lawsuit? Maybe this is Texas' way of getting rid of A&M (something that I think has to happen for the stability of the conference--too much has been said and their fans don't want to be there) and getting around silly lawsuit threats.Originally posted by Gaffords View PostThis comes from a source who feeds some of the Shaggy people info. All I know about her is that she works for one of the top donors for the program and was dead on about our coaching hires before they were released...
So it sounds like A&M might be getting booted and blocked from the SEC.
Welcome BYU? and two others? At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah
