Oh, I have no idea about TCU...that's conjecture. But BYU is in.

      More conjecture, no doubt.

No, they are absolutely with a seat at the table.

The only question is if they want the seat and if there's a table.

What is conjecture is that the answers to both of the above are yes.

        • So now ESPN is reporting that eight Big 12 schools are now refusing to give up their rights to sue. The lone holdout: OK.
          Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

          • Perhaps this entire episode of flirtation with the PAC-12 was simply a move by OU to extract a better arrangement with Texas/B12.

Such a cynical view. Where is your faith in humanity?

You realize it's the USC Trojans, and not the USC Gamecocks the Utes are playing this week, don't you?

                Your button is confused.

The Coach suggests here that it is about first tier rights and ensuring equal shares under a new contract in 2014. That would make a lot of sense out of what we've seen going on.

I still wonder how stable a recovered Big 12 will be.

Good catch. Maybe it is LA that is confused.

Seems like Oklahoma should like the concept of unequal revenue sharing since they're one of the big dogs.

At least his conjecture always has BYU at the big boys table. I prefer his to SUe's.

So it sounds like A&M might be getting booted and blocked from the SEC.

                                Welcome BYU? and two others?
If they are getting booted, where are the grounds for a lawsuit? Maybe this is Texas' way of getting rid of A&M (something that I think has to happen for the stability of the conference--too much has been said and their fans don't want to be there) and getting around silly lawsuit threats.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah
