Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

I'll gladly pay. Especially for better seats.Originally posted by byu71 View PostHow much do you think ticket prices are going up. My guess is 25%. It gets down to supply and demand and the demand surely will go up.
I've been camping for 5 days, and just got back this morning. Crazy what has happened while I've been out. Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

My prediction is it won't. If they want this by 2017 they have to act as quickly as possible. Too many advantages to them in marketing and logistics for naming someone sooner rather than later. They're just trying to set longer timing expectations for the media to keep them at bay, is my opinionOriginally posted by Flystripper View PostIt's gonna be hard to wait around for another three months to find out. I don't understand why it would take that long...

I would feel the same way if I were younger. Although I like the home schedule this year, I am having buyers remorse thinking about how much of the day is taken up.Originally posted by The_Douger View PostI'll gladly pay. Especially for better seats.

I think not only will ticket prices go up, but the buy in price to be able to buy more expensive seats I suspect will go up with the increased demand.

My suspicion is that they have already made their choices and are trying to get contracts in order.Originally posted by BlueK View PostMy prediction is it won't. Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

At best it was disingenuous of Bowslby to say they were "starting" the vetting process. As if until 2 days ago they hadn't done any due diligence.Originally posted by Topper View PostMy suspicion is that they have already made their choices and are trying to get contracts in order.

This is not a court of law, but courting public opinion. They have to make a show it to give them as much time as they need to finalize the details. This way, any delays seem reasonable.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostAt best it was disingenuous of Bowslby to say they were "starting" the vetting process. I can guarantee you that a Sunday championship game in baseball will never even be a consideration in our inclusion or exclusion.Originally posted by SeattleUte View Post"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

When has BYU ever made it to the championship game of any baseball tournament of recent memory? There will never be a problem.Originally posted by Moliere View PostI can guarantee you that a Sunday championship game in baseball will never even be a consideration in our inclusion or exclusion."Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

As long as we beat the Utes who cares about baseball championship games. We can just skip those and it will make a good general conference talk.Originally posted by SeattleUte View Post"If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.
