The PAC 10 expansion groundswell

Honestly, winning a PAC16 title over the likes of UT, OU and USC once in 20 years with a shot at the NC would be better than winning a watered down MWC every other year for 20 years and going to the Vegas Bowl each time. I hope you guys are able to get into a decent conference, because I think it will hurt worse than some think if you don't.

Personally, I would like to see Utah in the Pac-10. I am getting tired of Arizona's endless b*tching about being the worse team in the conference.

I think the only way Utah goes to the PAC is if the PAC only goes to 12. With news changing by the minute it is a little crazy. I don't think the recent news favors Utah.

Why would the SEC only add aTm? Who is another team that they would add? Why are we not hearing anything about SEC expansion except for aTm? Still so many questions and unfortunately this is long from being over.

Yes, I know this isn't a done deal. When I talk about not making the PAC16 it is just as much about Utah not making it as BYU.

Really? Once every generation is better than what you've had over the past 8 years? Maybe...if you are in close competition in many other years. But I think that may not be the case. A 3rd place finish will generally be the best case scenario.

Once every generation would be better than what we had the last eight years if the result of those seasons was never any better than the Veg. A one or two loss season in the PAC-16 would likely produce better results and carry more prestige than an undefeated season in a non-super conference (think undefeated Boise State shut out of the BCS). I really think all that's going on is going to widen the divide.

There is a wild rumor flying around that A&M's offer from the SEC was contingent on OU or Texas coming with them. If OU and Texas are going to the PAC-10 then A&M may be left with no choice.
