I heard on the local Trojan radio station that USC will probably never trail this season. That's one I've never heard before about any team.

I hate hearing stuff like that. I dont care if they trail during a game, as long as they don't trail at the end of the fourth quarter.
I was encouraged by Kiff and Barkley as they responded to the new AP polls.
``I don't care about it,'' USC quarterback Matt Barkley said. ``It really doesn't motivate me. I know (Alabama) is a great team.''They have zero margin for error. If they spend any time focusing on something other than the next game, they are making a huge mistake.USC became the first No. 1 team to drop in the AP poll after winning a game by 35+ points since Penn State in 1997, according to ESPN Stats Info. As you would expect, Kiffin could not care less about the rankings this time of year.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

It would be impressive if USC could pull that off. Nebraska came close in 1995. That undefeated team only trailed Washington St. 0-7 (20-7 half; 35-21 final) and Florida 6-10 (35-10 half; 62-24 final) after the first quarter.Originally posted by LA Ute View PostI heard on the local Trojan radio station that USC will probably never trail this season. He was asked a question about a player injury and whether they were going to practice (my guess is that it was about Khaled Holmes). Just last week he banished Wolfie from practice for a day or so because Wolfie was reporting on player injuries. I guess this is becoming the latest rage in the PAC....going on the DL about player injuries. Not sure why Kiff went so quickly into a roid rage about it but perhaps he is trying to send a message to the press that those sorts of questions are off limits.Originally posted by HuskyFreeNorthwest View PostThis was very odd, Triplet, Sipi, anyone know who he was asked about that got him so upset?

It is also possible that he is still a little upset that the entire season likely went down the drain last Saturday and that he bears much of the blame for that. But that is just my own opinion!Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

In the which Oxcoug begins to feel his age w/ the realization that the top recruit to come out of his high school alma mater in a decade is the son of a guy he grew up playing baseball with (Papa Vanderdoes is also named Eddie).
Eddie Jr picks SC over 'Bama.

BTW, Eddie Sr must have married a big physical girl seeing as he was nowhere near as big as his boy.
P.S. - this must have happened about the time we were finishing high school.Last edited by oxcoug; 09-22-2012, 01:42 PM.Ute-ī sunt fīmī differtī
