Penn State announced that its uniforms will feature player names on the back of its jerseys for the first time in school history. Once the Nittany Lions run out on the field this weekend, USC football will be the only FBS school never to have had surnames on the back of its jerseys.
`I've always thought pregame talks were the most exaggerated talks in the world. If they're not ready by then they probably won't be. My pregame talk will say, 'Does anybody have to go the restroom?' ''
I'm not convinced about McNeal and Redd being great (they are obviously good players), but Lee and Woods might be the two best WRs in the country. Both future first round locks.
After today, I'm trying to decide where Woods and Lee would fit in a ranking of NFL starting WR tandems. I don't think they would be at the bottom.
On a side note, Galippo is doing local post-game interviews (tag team). That was a pretty quick journey from the insane hype a few years ago to (presumably) out of football.

Wow. Gloves to wear to catch the ball. What a novel idea.

So, let's recap: USC dropped one spot in one poll for shaky 49-10 win and raised one spot in another poll for impressive 49-10 win.

I just saw this. Don't you remember that SC held out mcknight from the emerald bowl in 2009 (was it 2009?) because of this very issue? They reported it to the NCAA and the NCAA accepted the report. I am confused why this is now a story again. It hasn't been denied and it has already been reported to the NCAA almost 4 years ago.
I guess these new emails simply corroborate the earlier investigation?
Joe McKnight borrowing a car and taking a plane ticket is dumb. These players are dumb.
