You could have counted me as one of the BSU haters until last night. They were solid on both sides of the ball. The OU win didn't even convince me that they were anything more than a medium fish in a very small pond with a few lucky breaks. I still think TCU beats them mid-season, but even so, BSU's good. Really good.Originally posted by Flystripper View PostThe BSU hate runs deep in someAt least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

This thread is a good example why SU in The Stadium is the gift that keeps on giving. So far we've learned, in no uncertain language that:
-Peterson was not BSU's coach in 2006
-The SUG 2009 (11.92M viewers) was a bigger stage than the 2010 Fiesta Bowl (12.85M viewers)
-Utah would have beat Oregon and TCU if they had played them in 2009

Also, Alabama finished Top 5 and it was undefeated when it played Utah.Originally posted by TheBYUGuy View PostThis thread is a good example why SU in The Stadium is the gift that keeps on giving. So far we've learned, in no uncertain language that:

Did he say whether or not Utah last year was ranked #1 by the majority of the computer polls in this thread?Originally posted by TheBYUGuy View PostThis thread is a good example why SU in The Stadium is the gift that keeps on giving. So far we've learned, in no uncertain language that:

12-0? Utah lost to Oregon. Once drive away does not = a win.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostUtah would have been 12-0 with Boise's schedule, in this, a rebuilding year. That's not debatable. Utah was one drive away from winning at Eugene. Give Whit 6 weeks to prepare and a neutral field agaisnt TCU and he wins.Dyslexics are teople poo...

you are not paying attention....they lose 1 starter next year. These players are Peterson playersOriginally posted by beefytee View PostThe best non-BCS coach is June Jones.
No active coach has done more with less.
And I respect a coach who is able to build something from nothing. June has done that once and appears to be doing it again.
I respect Chris Petersen (maybe not as much as he deserves) and he continues to impress more and more each year, but he had a lot in place when he took over.Dyslexics are teople poo...

Do you count yourself? That's never been clear to me. Alabama was one of the top 5 teams outside of Utah. TCU will be ranked lower than no. 6 in the final 09 poll. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

I rooted for Utah last year against Bama and rooted for Utah this year against Cal.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostThis all speaks such volumes. You all rooted against Utah in the SUG last year. You were all in speechless agony when they won. You adopted TCU as your team agaisnt Boise. Now, Boise is the new Messiah. It's all about putting down the Utes. That's all you all live for ultimately. Hate.Dyslexics are teople poo...

its been many years since BSU and the WAC have allowed non-qualifiers and prop 48 kidsOriginally posted by byu71 View PostI don't know how you could really determine. Perhaps you can compare Kyle and Gary, however BSU can recruit kids that BYU can't. Some kids even Utah and TCU can't. Could Peterson, Kyle or Gary do as well at BYU, Kyle maybe, I doubt the other two could.
I wonder if Bronco could do as well as Peterson at BSU. I guess it is fun to banter.
The question is, if you were a program like USC, which of the 4 would you hire. It would be down to Kyle or Peterson for me.Dyslexics are teople poo...
