You could have counted me as one of the BSU haters until last night. They were solid on both sides of the ball. The OU win didn't even convince me that they were anything more than a medium fish in a very small pond with a few lucky breaks. I still think TCU beats them mid-season, but even so, BSU's good. Really good.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

This thread is a good example why SU in The Stadium is the gift that keeps on giving. So far we've learned, in no uncertain language that:

-Peterson was not BSU's coach in 2006
-The SUG 2009 (11.92M viewers) was a bigger stage than the 2010 Fiesta Bowl (12.85M viewers)
-Utah would have beat Oregon and TCU if they had played them in 2009

Also, Alabama finished Top 5 and it was undefeated when it played Utah.

Did he say whether or not Utah last year was ranked #1 by the majority of the computer polls in this thread?

12-0? Utah lost to Oregon. Once drive away does not = a win.

And I respect a coach who is able to build something from nothing. June has done that once and appears to be doing it again.

I respect Chris Petersen (maybe not as much as he deserves) and he continues to impress more and more each year, but he had a lot in place when he took over.
you are not paying attention....they lose 1 starter next year. These players are Peterson players

Do you count yourself? That's never been clear to me. Alabama was one of the top 5 teams outside of Utah. TCU will be ranked lower than no. 6 in the final 09 poll.

I rooted for Utah last year against Bama and rooted for Utah this year against Cal.

So did I. I wonder who SU will root for when BYU plays in the 2013 SUG?

I wonder if Bronco could do as well as Peterson at BSU. I guess it is fun to banter.

The question is, if you were a program like USC, which of the 4 would you hire. It would be down to Kyle or Peterson for me.
its been many years since BSU and the WAC have allowed non-qualifiers and prop 48 kids
