Why? Because VaTech is faster and has better athletes? Isn't that what was said about TCU? Is it because they are in a BCS conference? Isn't Oklahoma? They will loose their starting running back to the NFL. It could be the time that I spent in VA, but I have never bought the hype about VaTech.

You could have counted me as one of the BSU haters until last night. They were solid on both sides of the ball. The OU win didn't even convince me that they were anything more than a medium fish in a very small pond with a few lucky breaks. I still think TCU beats them mid-season, but even so, BSU's good. Really good.

Utah would have been 12-0 with Boise's schedule, in this, a rebuilding year. That's not debatable. Utah was one drive away from winning at Eugene. Give Whit 6 weeks to prepare and a neutral field agaisnt TCU and he wins.

12-0? Utah lost to Oregon. Once drive away does not = a win.

And I respect a coach who is able to build something from nothing. June has done that once and appears to be doing it again.


I respect Chris Petersen (maybe not as much as he deserves) and he continues to impress more and more each year, but he had a lot in place when he took over.

This all speaks such volumes. You all rooted against Utah in the SUG last year. You were all in speechless agony when they won. You adopted TCU as your team agaisnt Boise. Now, Boise is the new Messiah. It's all about putting down the Utes. That's all you all live for ultimately. Hate.

I don't know how you could really determine. Perhaps you can compare Kyle and Gary, however BSU can recruit kids that BYU can't. Some kids even Utah and TCU can't. Could Peterson, Kyle or Gary do as well at BYU, Kyle maybe, I doubt the other two could.

I wonder if Bronco could do as well as Peterson at BSU. I guess it is fun to banter.

The question is, if you were a program like USC, which of the 4 would you hire. It would be down to Kyle or Peterson for me.
