In two years you get to see that.Originally posted by Goatnapper'96 View PostI would really like to see Peterson and Whit square off in a game. I'll bet even if Whit had the 3rd best qb his program has had in the past 30 years (judging by NFL longevity) Peterson could beat Whit in SLC by 30 points. What kind of outcome do you forsee in such a game?"Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

Utah would have been 12-0 with Boise's schedule, in this, a rebuilding year. That's not debatable. Utah was one drive away from winning at Eugene. Give Whit 6 weeks to prepare and a neutral field agaisnt TCU and he wins.Originally posted by Eddie Jones View Post

Peterson has a better overall record and more BCS wins that Whit. Peterson is the better coach and it's not even debatable (except on internet message boards). When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Utah's lucky TCU didn't hang a 70 spot on them this year, and no, I'm not being hyperbolic.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostUtah would have been 12-0 with Boise's schedule, in this, a rebuilding year. Peterson has one BCS bowl win, and it wasn't even against a BCS team. His predecessor who's about to be fired at Colorado won the first Boise BCS bowl. You're all so simplistic in your thinking. It's like an ingrained habit. I wonder where that comes from. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

That should be a great game. Moore will be a Senior and whatever the QB for Utah's name is (not trying to be snarky, I honestly don't recall) will be a Jr. My money would be on Utah. I don't think BSU can consistently field the quality of defense they had this year. Utah on the other hand, has proven they can.Originally posted by Surfah View PostSorry 3 years. Sorry, you are all wrong.
The best non-BCS coach is June Jones.
No active coach has done more with less.
And I respect a coach who is able to build something from nothing. June has done that once and appears to be doing it again.
I respect Chris Petersen (maybe not as much as he deserves) and he continues to impress more and more each year, but he had a lot in place when he took over.

I thought Ute fans measured overall success by BCS wins.Originally posted by SeattleUte View PostUtah would have been 12-0 with Boise's schedule, in this, a rebuilding year. That's not debatable. Peterson 2

Florida would have killed Boise this year in the SUG. Technically, Whittingham was the head coach when the U won the Fiesta Bowl.Originally posted by SloanHater View PostI can count to 2. Petersen BCS wins 2.
