Ouch. Tell us how you really feel Earvin!

Happy days are here again! Mike D'Antoni resigns as the Lakers coach. I couldn't be happier!

Mike Ds resume is looking really good, especially his last two stops.

        I want Phil.

Would love to see Byron Scott again. He's not a good coach and I don't like him. Perfect fit.

Ha! As a Byron Scott fan (the ball player) and a Laker fan I'd hate to have Scott on the sidelines. I also don't want Phil.....especially right after he took the NY job.

I like the idea of Messina. I'd hope they make a run at Coach K but changes are he'd never leave Duke. Also trying to get a current NBA coach like Rick Carlisle or Doc Rivers.

Why would Doc come when he has a good thing going with the LAC?

I don't see a rebuild with an overpaid superstar on his way out as a nice starting point for someone.

                and a really weak bench

Your 2014 Los Angeles Lakers. Not only could they be the worst team in the west this year but they have a real shot at the worst team in the NBA.

I figure Nash for about ten games this year so I left him off the list.

Lakers are a hot mess right now as they may actually have to wait 3 years to return to the finals again. I hope DDD can maintain his loyalty that long.

Remember when this thread was cutting through CUF like it was hot butter? Then the name change and the thread fell apart. Similar to Utah and the MWC to P12 if you think about it.
