That is a nice pay day. He goes to the d-league, makes a name for himself and gets called up. Or he doesn't have what it takes to make it in a rotation or roster and goes overseas and makes several hundreds of thousands of dollars. Not a bad option.I'm your huckleberry.

definitely not above dwight, drose, marc gasol, kevin love, tony parker, carmelo, or probably a whole bunch of other people. he got hot at the right time, but he's at best a serviceable defender, bad turnover numbers, not a great creator. if you have a draft of players currently in the league he is not a first rounder.Originally posted by Flystripper View Postwhere would you put him?Te Occidere Possunt Sed Te Edere Non Possunt Nefas Est.

Amazing indeed. Even an enterprise as big as ESPN has enough good people around to apparently distance themselves from gaudy and hollow numbers to finally appreciate play on both ends of the court and versatile skill sets that result in actual wins.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostHow about Marc Gasol at 10? Oh wait, Steph Curry was put at 6? Never mind.
And FWIW, remember that crazy Russell Westbrook that plays out of control and takes bad shots and turns the ball over too much? Points/shot last year for Steph Curry while shooting 45% from 3 was 1.28. Westbrook's was 1.24. Curry's TOV% was 13.7; Westbrook's 13.2. Career ast% for Westbrook = 35.7, with 38.4 last year. Career ast% for Curry = 28.3, with a 31.1 number from last year. So at least they didn't screw up and put Curry over Westbrook.

I really think that it is pretty damn impressive that he even got that far. He is a borderline NBA guy and clearly busted his ass to get close to the NBA. Sounds like if not for injuries, he would have a roster spot with the Clippers.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostClippers waive Brandon Davies, they are now down to 15 players. Last guy cut.
I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up making a roster at some point. I really think that he could add value to a team.As I lead this army, make room for mistakes and depression

The fact that he seemed able to add the 3 point shot to his game would make me think he gets at least a cup of coffee or two in the league.Originally posted by mpfunk View PostI really think that it is pretty damn impressive that he even got that far. Mr. Stats is giving him credit for adding a 3pt to his game for some 3s he hit against the Jazz (including an inadvertent bank shot)?Originally posted by Indy Coug View PostThe fact that he seemed able to add the 3 point shot to his game would make me think he gets at least a cup of coffee or two in the league. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Curry is absolutely a top 30 player in a draft scenario. He's the best player on his team (and better than several other team's best players), has two elite skills, is young, and is marketable.Originally posted by Flystripper View PostReally? You don't think Curry is top 30? His game has some flaws at this point but not even top 30 is a bit far to drop him IMHO."Sure, I fought. I had to fight all my life just to survive.
