The last time that happened, President Hunter fell over backwards.

Lol. I still remember watching the tv, blinking a few times, looking over at my brother, and saying "What the Hell?"Originally posted by Indy Coug View PostThe last time that happened, President Hunter fell over backwards."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

Kobe doesn't want to take a pay cut.
http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nba-ba...125531553.html“I’m not taking any at all – that’s the negotiation that you have to have.” Kobe Bryant told Lakers Nation in an exclusive interview at his Kobe Basketball Academy on Wednesday. “For me to sit here and say, ‘Oh yeah, I’m just going to take a huge pay cut. Nah, I’m going to try to get as much as I possibly can.”

He knows nobody is coming to play with him and his last shot at a title before he's done walked out the door with Howard (however minuscule that might have been). Oh well, he's got his two rings and can head off into the sunset with one last cash grab.So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

??? Sorry, but that's a clown question, bro. Attitude or not, I'd give my right...triangle to play with that guy if I was an NBA free agent.Originally posted by The_Douger View PostWould you go play with that guy?"Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

There's plenty of other great players I'd prefer to play with in the NBA. I sure do think it was cute that he thought he was going to teach Dwight how to win, a guy who's already led a team to the Finals without Kobe.Originally posted by Blueintheface View Post??? I think the 2014 draft will end up being viewed as superior to the 2013 draft. Andrew Wiggins alone makes that a certainty.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostThe 2013 NBA draft had 0 players in Chad Fords top two tiers. The 2014 draft has 8 with the chance for at least 2 more to jump up there. Amazing.
But I wouldn't be surprised if when it comes down to it, we end up with 5 or fewer guys max in those tiers. Many players look far less appealing once they have to play against college competition and compete against other elite players for playing time (like several Kentucky freshmen last year). Take Aaron Gordon for example. His highlights remind me a lot of McAdoo of UNC when he was in high school. Gordon appears taller, but McAdoo was supposedly very skilled and had a game similar to Tim Duncan's. Now he's entering his junior year and is projected to barely be in the lottery. If he'd been able to come right out of high school, he might've gone top 5 on potential.
Still would be a great draft to get a few guys in the top tier and a few more in the 2nd tier. But the hype is always highest in June/July for next year's draft.

Yep. In what I've seen of the U19s (U20s?) going on right now, Gordon isn't exactly dominating the competition. In fact, he's disappeared for long stretches in games. Ridiculous athleticism, but I haven't been impressed with his overall game in the little I've seen.Originally posted by BGRTHNUMEGO View PostI think the 2014 draft will end up being viewed as superior to the 2013 draft.
