Nothing I hate more than Tim Duncan's bug-eyed stares at the refs after he gets called for a foul. Uh yeah Tim you can't put your feet right under Bosh as he comes down on the 3-pointer. That's a foul.
What a great game though -- loved the way the refs let them play. I hope this one goes seven games and that the Heat can pull off the upset.

When Dallas hit 7 games and OKC hit 6 it didn't seem to matter.Originally posted by BGRTHNUMEGO View PostIs there any precedent for a team being lead by older players (35+ yo), get to either the conference finals or finals, and it appears those older players get all tuckered out and their play suffers? I don't know if it was injury or age last year for Ginobili, but since he looks so much better this year I'm going to guess it was something wrong with his body and not just being worn down.
But when this series hits game 5 or game 6, I wonder how 38 yo Duncan and 36 yo Ginobili will be holding up. That's yet another long season on legs that have logged a lot of miles. Pop has certainly managed their minutes well all season so maybe that makes it work out in the end. And they aren't battling back and foot problems like Bird, McHale, and Parrish were at the end of their run.
Pop has managed the minutes well all season. They will be fine.

Well they damn sure couldn't have played through the cramps Lebron was having.Originally posted by Surfah View PostWould MJ or Kobe take themselves out of an NBA finals game because of cramps?
This has been a problem for Lebron in the past -- the guy just is predisposed to severe leg cramps unfortunately -- probably some genetic predisposition. It's happened at least 3 or 4 times in the past that I can recall.
Genius move by the Spurs to turn off the A/C last night.

What was strange was that you didn't see LeBron trying to drink anything the whole time.Originally posted by CardiacCoug View PostWell they damn sure couldn't have played through the cramps Lebron was having.

That was my thought. MJ took IV fluids and was carried off the court after the game by Pippen. Kobe played through win his broken hand and a soft cast, learning to shoot with his off hand so he could continue to play.Originally posted by Surfah View PostWould MJ or Kobe take themselves out of an NBA finals game because of cramps?
i suppose Lebrons cramps could have been really uncomfortable.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Yep, no question MJ and Kobe would have played....heck if they couldn't walk with their hammy in the shape of a softball they would have hopped on one leg to the conclusion of the game.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostThat was my thought.
