The FT shooting is actually pretty in line with his college numbers, and likely suggests that what we've seen so far of his shooting isn't real.
Bruce Bowen was pretty close. But that's all I've got. He was just under 40% from range, but was well under 70% from the FT line.

    • MCW is no way a shooter. He will fall off and when he does it will be of epic porportions.

      • Spurs vs Jazz Friday night? Or BYU vs Mount St. Marys?

Rasheed had a season at 42% on 3's and 72% at the FT line. Pavlovic was horrible one year in limited shot attempts, 41% from 3 and only 47% in 54 FTAs. Mike Bibby also had a 40+/sub 70 season when he only had 32 FTAs and made 64% of them.

So nobody that shoots anywhere near the # of FTs that MC-W is going to shoot this year.

So glad you weighed in. Orange fans have to be beside themselves with what MCW has done so far in the League. They know better than anyone else, this HAS to be a fluke.

With MCW playing like he is the Cuse would have beat Michigan and would have a legitimate shot at a title.

Actually looks like he had quite a few seasons of +40% from 3 and mid-to-low 60s from the line. That's just amazing to me.

                  • It still stings that his last collegiate game (his very most important game of his career) he laid an egg (2 pts, 2 assists, 5 TOs) and then he lights it up in the NBA. Unreal.

                          • Seems like at least half of that list shot 70% or greater from the FT, but still a lot more than I would have guessed.
