I think so as well. Right now he's barely scraping above 40% from the floor, and is hitting just 67% from the line. There probably hasn't been a +40% 3pt shooter in the history of the NBA that shot below 70% from the line. The FT shooting is actually pretty in line with his college numbers, and likely suggests that what we've seen so far of his shooting isn't real.

Rasheed had a season at 42% on 3's and 72% at the FT line. Pavlovic was horrible one year in limited shot attempts, 41% from 3 and only 47% in 54 FTAs. Mike Bibby also had a 40+/sub 70 season when he only had 32 FTAs and made 64% of them.

So nobody that shoots anywhere near the # of FTs that MC-W is going to shoot this year.

It still stings that his last collegiate game (his very most important game of his career) he laid an egg (2 pts, 2 assists, 5 TOs) and then he lights it up in the NBA. Unreal.
