After the way he played in those first three games, it was easy to forget just how good Wade can be. Without a superstar version of Wade, even LeBron's Cleveland teams were better than the Heat in those first few.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostGood call.I'm like LeBron James.

Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Can anyone make any sense of the recent rumors about Shack being the GM of Orlando. I know that it is a dead deal now but how in the world could he be a GM? Why would he even be a candidate? Managing personnel, understanding the salary cap, putting together trades, evaluating basketball talent, working with scouts, meetings with the league owners to discuss strategy.....what the heck? Has there been any indication that Shack can handle any of these responsibilities without even a hint of front office experience in his very brief NBA retirement? I don't get it.Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

A pile of young guys in the league seem to be doing this right now. Looks ridiculous.Originally posted by TripletDaddy View PostWhat's the story with Westbrook and Durant and their Revenge of the Nerds post game attire? Do the glasses have lenses in them? I seem to recall Durant rocking backpacks as well in previous seasons. What's the scoop?Last edited by MarkGrace; 05-28-2012, 04:02 PM.So Russell...what do you love about music? Dude was a 69% FT shooter in the regular season. Not sure those percentages really work that well for OKC.Originally posted by Surfah View PostOKC. What a joke. Hack a Splitter in the 3rd quarter.
Say what you want about Al Jefferson, but looks like he was right about the Spurs. Nobody is going to beat these guys. Incredible.

Pop is the master of it and probably the only guy who has ever done it effectively. But fouling every possession with 4 minutes left in the 3rd when your team is down by 15 is not a good tactic.Originally posted by Colly Wolly View PostCommentators are saying Pop did the same thing against the Clips last series."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic
