Yahoo pciks Jimmer to its first team AA squad, but pick Nolan Smith over jimmer as POY.

Rivals is the best resource for recruiting and high school sports. Find all of your favorite team's information or browse our advanced player database.

    This causes me jimmerfusion.
Perhaps if that yahoo spent 5 minutes with Jimmer he'd realize he's wrong. His life would be better for it.

Kevin Goodman from Fox Sports gives POY to Nolan Smith as well. A team that did even win their conference.

As compared to Jimmer, Smith plays on a team with more surrounding NBA talent in a weaker conference on a team with a weaker strength of schedule and a lower RPI.

Naturally, that makes him the POY over Jimmer.

Goodman has been looking for a reason to not give it to Jimmer all year. He was a huge Walker guy until he fizzled out. Then he was all over Sullinger. Recently, he's jumped on Smith. Even when he was tweeting through SDSU I, all he could talk about was how different the game would be if Leonard were healthy. It's been strange to watch.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Jimmer is going to get hosed.

He shouldn't, but we shouldn't be suprised.

              1. He plays for BYU.
              2. He is white.
              3. He doesn't play for an East Coast team.

Video of the student section flash mob vs. Wyoming. Jimmer never turns around. Rogers can't help it, like a moth to a flame.

I post this at my own (and the legacy of Utah hoops') peril, but I laughed nonetheless at one sentence. I'll give you one guess to figure out which one.

LOL. Jimmer's horning in on Utah's basketball legacy. And well-deserved, too, after delivering the most dominating offensive performance ever witnessed at the Huntsman Center.

Wow, those were bad unis. Seriously, Utes can mock the bibs all they want, but those mid-nineties Utah bball unis were ungodly. They make the Utah Jazz's purple mountain majesty unis look hip.

Very fitting that Van Horn's finest moment came off an Andre Miller brick.

First, it was Andre who beat a triple-team to tie the game at 70 apiece, and he had 21 points that night, plus made the perfect pass to allow KVH to tip in the game-winner the night before.

Second, today's unis make those look like they were designed by Versace.

Let's get this back on topic.

                            Jimmer the missionary!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I want UNLV in the tournament now! Tre'von still bumping his gums:

Brigham Young senior guard Jimmer Fredette was a unanimous selection as Player of the Year. Fredette averaged 31.4 points in league games, and he has a good shot to be voted the nation's top player.

Fredette was a unanimous selection because Willis was not allowed to vote.

"My vote would have been for Kawhi Leonard or maybe D.J. Gay, all-around players who can play defense," Willis said.

ha ha! Yes, because DJ Gay is such a basketball force to be reckoned with. I'm guessing Tre'Von is still walking straight legged from what Jimmer did to him.
