Two shots last night is evidence that Jimmer just isn't sure what to do on that Kings team.

And we can make all the excuses we want about how the Kings offense sucks, about Tyreke being a ball hog, etc, but if you can play, you find a way to get things done, and in this instance we need to look no farther than Isiaiah Thomas, who is simply going out there and playing basketball/making plays. Thomas, in about the same amount of minutes, gets 9 shots off, makes 4, goes to the line 4 times and hands out five assists. Jimmer gets two assists and two shots.

I'm not sure what they expect from a coach that takes over mid-season in a season like this one - that is compact with games closer together and less time to practice and learn/implement a new offense.

The local Jazz homer play by play guy has said a number of times that the Jazz coach this year has primarily focused on implementing new defensive philosophy and is largely ignoring the offense because there are too many new guys and not enough time to implement and practice new stuff.

I'm curious what Smart is thinking - are there certain things they are working on and other things they are ignoring? What has management told him they expect of him? Are they going to give him some time before they expect to see some improvement?
