Jimmer went to church on Sunday in Portland. I know someone in the ward he attended and they said he was very gracious and after sacrament he stood around and took pictures for about 30 minutes. Several of the young men posted on facebook during sacrament that he was there. I guess afterwards a bunch of their non-member friends showed up to see Jimmer.

Jimmerphilia is a nice missionary tool.

Jimmer shot the ball well tonight but didn't get many minutes. 10 points so far in 16 minutes on 4-6 shooting (2-3 from three). It sucks too because the game got away from Sacto in the 2nd quarter and have been down 15 throughout.

I've just been checking the boxscore - 5 minutes of game time ago, Jimmer had played the 16 minutes you mentioned, Thomas had played 21 minutes and Garcia 18 minutes. 5 minutes later, Jimmer was still sitting at 16, Thomas 26 (3-12 FGs) and Garcia 23. So Jimmer couldn't even get garbage minutes in a blowout when he had been playing well. Disappointing.

To be fair, Thomas had a bad shooting night but also 8 assists and was +4.

Nice to see Jimmer's shooting percentage come up, now at 33.6%. Thomas at 30.9%.

He really struggled defensively tonight. Portland was full of bad matchups. Felton was killing him, they switched him to Wes Matthews and he started posting Jimmer up. The Kings stayed just close enough throughout that they never really emptied the bench.

The finish on the and 1 was pretty nasty. It is good to see him start getting his swagger back a bit. He needs to keep building off the time that he has in the game.
