In my disappointment that Alec Burks didn't play, I realized there weren't any true SGs in that game. Malcolm Lee comes closest, but even he is undersized and more of a combo guard. I was surprised at how hard they played - especially Tobias Harris. He is an impressive combination of size, athleticism, guard skills, and shooting ability.

I would like to have seen Derrick Williams in that game.
Other than that, I was amazed as a BYU fan how cool the whole event was. Even cooler that I was able to watch it on basic cable from AZ.
Having said that, I also believe TJ Fredette can rap, but no rapping should ever take place in the Marriott Center. Ever."I'm anti, can't no government handle a commando / Your man don't want it, Trump's a bitch! I'll make his whole brand go under,"

There was, however, copious amounts of "noise" made by the crowd. Numerous arms were placed in the air, also. Much was "given up" by Provo last night. The hip hop gods saw it and called it "def."Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

I have a feeling that TJ will be performing once or twice in Sacramento at halftimes. Also, anytime that Jimmer is sponsoring some car dealership in Sacramento, no doubt that TJ will pen the catchy jingle for that dealership. If I could bet on TJ's career right now, I would.

Duh. The other part of THE CONTRACT was that when Jimmer makes it to the NBA, he would do everything in his power to help TJ launch his rapping career. With Jimmer's NBA connections now, I can easily see TJ hooking up with Shaq Diesel or Metta World Peace.Originally posted by UteStar View PostI have a feeling that TJ will be performing once or twice in Sacramento at halftimes. I love Jimmer. He's about to be on the pre-game show with Alema right now. That dude is a legend and always will be in Provo. And I love that he still kicks it there. I know he's there because of the lockout, but he seems like someone who will always be an active part of BYU. And I think that is really cool.
Already they're talking about doing the Jimmer's All-Stars game again next year."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

I agree. I was just commenting last night about how Jimmer is BYU's Champion and the People's Champion. Not since Steve Young have we had such an ambassador for the Cougs.Originally posted by Surfah View PostI love Jimmer. He's about to be on the pre-game show with Alema right now. So my daughter who is a student at BYU told me that a guy she dated a couple of times told her that his old girlfriend is now Jimmer's fiance. She was not impressed, but I am.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
