Assuming the Jazz ended up with Brandon Knight at 6 and then Alec Burks at 12 in this draft, how would you feel about that draft versus what the 6 and 12 would have brought last year (Epke Udoh and Xavier Henry)?
What if you got to pick the best guy available at 6 (Monroe, Hayward, Aminu) and the best guy available at 12 (Davis, Patterson) versus a Knight/Burks combo?
Heading into this year's draft it looks like the top 2 and everyone else. Heading into last year's it was the top 5 in one grouping but after that it seemed there was no consensus on who teams liked from 6 to the end of the lottery. I wonder if after measurements and workouts really get going if we'll start to consider the players outside the top in this draft not being that inferior to the group outside of the top 5 from last year.

His Treviso club is still playing. If the Jazz were watching him last week they were treated to a 1-6, 1 rebound game in 21 minutes.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostWas he playing in the recent Euro League tourney? I know a Jazz scout was over there checking in on Tomic, but he was reportedly looking at other players as well.

I'd definitely take Knight over Udoh. I wasn't high on him last year and he didn't have much of a chance to show anything this year. I've thought that after 5-6 this year is probably not that much different than any year. So I'd be ambivalent towards Henry as compared to Burks, though last year I was a bit higher on Henry.Originally posted by BGRTHNUMEGO View PostAssuming the Jazz ended up with Brandon Knight at 6 and then Alec Burks at 12 in this draft, how would you feel about that draft versus what the 6 and 12 would have brought last year (Epke Udoh and Xavier Henry)?

If we ended up with Knight and Leonard at 6 and 12, I'd think this was a great draft as both of those guys have a very high chance of being very solid pros and likely starters. Not much bust potential. Burks' bust potential is a lot higher I think.
Also, if we don't end up with a PG with the first pick, I'd be pleased with Jimmer at 12. For the same low bust potential that I think he has. Though with a lower ceiling.

#1 and #6 baby!Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostAny last minute predictions on where the Jazz end up? I'm feeling like we're going to stay in place on both picks.
