I like Cleveland being the team at 4. I think they'll really want Kanter after picking Irving. Jazz can shop the 3rd pick to teams wanting to take him, and the Cavs might give up something just to move up a spot.

Unless Minny screws up at 2, being at #3 turns this into an NFL draft for the Jazz: move down and acquire more picks.
Agreed. The 3rd pick gives us options, and being surrounded by Cleveland and David Kahn only helps us. I highly doubt we draft at 3, some team will fall in love with some player and we'll make a deal. Worst case scenario is having our choice of the best player in the drafts second tier.

I can. The other team isn't guarding outside the paint.

(I know, Derrick Williams hit 60% of his 10 3pt attempts)

Williams does nothing for me. I wanted Irving. I'd rather have Knight than Williams.

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

Yeah, that lineup may not be able to shoot...but they would be fun to watch. And hey, isn't that why they pick Jimmer at #12?

Not sure exactly what Wolves will do at 2 ... Biyombo isn't out of the question ... no joke.

I think there's zero suspense at the top. I'm told Cavs love Irving. Suspense begins at 2: Williams, Kanter, Biyombo, trade all possible
              Some Ford tweets.

              • I didn't know Williams is still 19. That's encouraging.

Knight is 18 years old. Kanter is 18 years old. This draft, the players are really young at the top.

I knew that Knight was 18 -- he's the youngest in the draft.

Kanter's stock really seems to be on the rise. The more I think about it, the more I can see Minny getting serious about either him or Biyombo at 3.

Didn't some site also say Toronto was a team that liked Kanter? With their drop they could decide to move up to snag him so Cleveland can't get him if he drops to 4.

                        • Minny reportedly offered Flynn for Bell last year. Bell + #2 and a promise not to take Biyombo or Kanter for the #3?

                          • I have read a bunch about Kanter, but it sure would have been nice to see him play this year. A lot of people last year thought he could go #1 in this years draft. With that said, I still like Knight. I like his size and his attitude. I would have no problem with the Jazz taking him at #3. I think his stock goes up in the next month.

Minny is really the wildcard. I have no idea what they will do.

                            • Anyone know the deal with Kanter's knees? I've repeatedly read he's had some knee issues in the past, but I've never seen anything specific mentioned.

I know he's had some back issues. Not sure on the knees.
