Yeah having the worst two opening games since before most of us were born is nothing to get worked up over.

Starting a season never leading at the end of a quarter is no big deal, especially when its against your Western Conference foes.

    I bet they start 4 and 10.

      I think Hayward is awful.

How bad does CJ, Raja, AK, have to be to give minutes to this guy?
Forget Brewer, the Jazz need Korver back. There isn't one player who can hit an open 3. Okur can't come back soon enough.

At least Jerry is consistent in his refusal to change.

Are you a Jazz fan or did you lose money on the game?

I'll settle for leading at any point in the game let alone at the end of a quarter.

            • I'll still take the over on the Jazz winning more games this season than last.

Chemistry will take time to develop, but it will.

              • Deron Williams on court fit at Gordon Hayward was a troublesome thing. People screw up, but I don't know as how I have seen anyone throw the ball at a team mate in quite some time.

Oooh, when did this happen? I missed it.

Deron is going to look great in purple and gold.

About 5 minutes left in the game. GBH was not where he was supposed to be and Williams yellled at him during the play and then threw the ball extra hard to him with all kinds of disgust in his body language.

Then at the time out he screamed at him. He was losing his cool on a very bad night for him, as he looked absolutely terrible himself.

It didnt look great. It wasnt a "Charles Barkley at Shaq's head" level of extreme, but it was noticeable. I think the folks on TNT mentioned it, as well.

Steve Blake will need a good mentor once Fisher retires. Williams will be a nice addition for the Lakers. Plus he can finally live in an area where he can get a decent fade and beard trim.
                      Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

I think it has less to do with Hayward and was a general frustration with how out of sync the offense has looked both games. The fact that Hayward missed something that every Jazz fan knows the wings do every time on a semi-break (crossing under the basket) I'm sure was a little bit frustrating. The fact that the Jazz can't buy a basket is disheartening. You know the pieces will eventually click, but man it is painful waiting for that to happen after a promising preseason.

                          • "It's the same thing," Millsap said. "We're not on the same page because we haven't played enough. But, in due time, it will come, and when it does, we'll be headed the other direction."
Maybe Sloan should have been playing the actual team together in the preseason!

Deron is as frustrated with himself as anybody, I'm sure. He's been terrible. And then Sloan says he's not in good enough shape? Here we go!

                              • I'm just not sure what to make of Sap and Jefferson. I don't like the size between the two, but how to you tell Sap that he doesn't deserve to start? In most situations like this, I think Jerry would start a bigger 5 to eat some space and give more of a size presence in the paint. He even said in the preseason that ideally he'd like to start Fes, but he's not sure he can justify taking Sap out of the starting lineup because Sap has earned it. I think starting Fes/Al makes some sense, but I also think that Jerry's right in that it would be tough to remove Sap from the starting unit. He's been our best player the first two games. But I'm just not sold it's a very good combo.
