And the Sixers lose and NY wins. 1-7 spots are locked up, best we can hope for is 8th. Damn.

Why am I nervous? Why? It's Golden State, right? No reason to be nervous. I'm not a member of the Jazz so why am I concerned? Why do I keep having Miles' deer-in-headlights image running through my mind? Why do I imagine Memo coming out tonight to prove he's back by going 0-7 from 3? Shit, now I've really gone and done it. I've got floor seats to tomorrow's Phoenix game. We lose both games for sure now. Phoenix is killing Denver tonight. So, if Utah beats Phoenix in the next game (and assuming that the Jazz win tonight), and Dallas loses to San Antonio tomorrow night, does that put the Jazz in the #2 spot? The Jazz would have the same record as Dallas and also the same conference record and hold a 2-1 edge in the games played between the two teams, I'm assuming the Jazz would hold all the tiebreakers at that point, correct?
I can see Denver winning the 4-5 series and then playing the Lakers in the second round. Denver gave the Lakers some problems last year, sooo obviously it would be great for the Jazz to stay out of that 4-5 area so they can avoid the Lakers for as long as possible and hold out some hope that someone else could take them out (because they sure as hell can't pull it off). Having homecourt in the second round is huge.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I think SA does rest so it's 3 or 5 for the Jazz."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

No word yet. I think he needs to try the pad that you can actually adhere to the underwear. Prevents slippage and is ultra-absorbent.
It's definitely a muscle issue since the x-ray came back negative. He's having an MRI this morning and if no major damage is discovered why he couldn't get a cordisone (or equivalent) shot to numb the area and play tonight would be a complete mystery.
