CJ looks like he's on the Oliver Miller diet on a runaway freight train to the bench and despite a 4 block night (getting rim-checked on your own shot counts, it just has to) Eyore is officially out to lunch. I hope to see less and less of them especially if Kal El is shooting lights out and if Boozer's injury isn't significant.

Point guards Deron Williams(notes) of Utah, Chicago's Derrick Rose(notes) and Boston's Rajon Rondo(notes) will make their All-Star Game debuts next month in Dallas, sources said Thursday.

Williams, Rondo and Rose top the list of reserves chosen by the league's coaches to participate in the Feb. 14 game at Cowboys Stadium. The names won't be made official until Thursday night, but Yahoo! Sports has obtained the list of reserves.

Besides Rondo and Rose, the East roster includes Boston's Paul Pierce(notes), Toronto's Chris Bosh(notes), Charlotte's Gerald Wallace(notes) and Atlanta's Joe Johnson(notes) and Al Horford(notes).

Very nice. I hope he has the chance to trim the beard by then. Without him playing tomorrow night and Boozer's likely absence the Kings game looks bleak.

I don't really disagree with any of the West reserves with the possible exception of Zach Randolph. Knowing Z-Bo's history, I'm still really skeptical that he has become anything more than the typical hurt the team black hole that he has always been.

He has also put up 24/10 for the Blazers in the past and hurt the team. I may be wrong, but I will always be skeptical of Z-Bo after his time in Portland.

It's not only about the numbers he's putting up, it's about the results that the team is getting. That team has no business being the 7th seed in the West. Are you really telling me that if you took him off the squad they would be better? That's nuts. He's been the biggest factor in their success.

Everyone has been skeptical about him given his behavior. But your argument that Memphis would be better without him doesn't even come close to holding water given the results thus far.

I haven't looked at the East team extremely closely, but David Lee should have been a lock.

Comparing him to Paul Pierce:

Lee on a surprisingly good Knicks team - 19.4 pts 11.4 rebs 3.4 assists on 55% FGs

Pierce on a disappointing Celtics team - 18.9 pts 4.8 rebs 3.6 assists on 47% FGs
