Howard's PPS is also 4th best on the team because he's getting to the line 5 times a game in limited minutes at making all of them. He hasn't played great by any stretch of the imagination, but he's showing some improvement and creating points to a greater extent than the other wings.

I still think we're better off starting him at the 3 and Gordon at the 2. Roger is so awful that anything that gets him out of the starting lineup has to be an improvement, and I think Howard is in the best position right now to step into a starting role.

I agree, both on that he's improved and that we're better off with him starting at the 3. He's clearly much more productive than Bell and Miles, and that is with Howard coming off very little playing time the past 2 years.

I agree. While he freelances at times he's still the best option at the 3 (if you move Gordo to the 2). I'm just not seeing any reason to keep Bell on the roster at this point. He's just taking minutes from Burks & Hayward. CJ and Milsap/Jefferson need to be shipped ASAP.

I liked that at least Burks saw some first half action last night as well. Interviewed after the game Corbing said, when referring to Burks, "...he's been pretty patient..." In his (Burks) postgame interview you could tell he is barely being patient at this point. He mentioned his defense needed improvement in order to stay on the court but his body language told a different story. I want a kid that wants to play but not sure how I feel about a rookie just 5 games in visibly showing his disappointment. I think he needs more time but I wouldn't simply do it because he's being impatient.
