It has been a lot of fun to watch. Clarkson has really changed his game. He is easily one of my favorite Jazz players of all time. I hope the team does not trade him. I'd love to see him retire in Utah.

That game was crazy. We were up 10 at the half. The Hawks came back hard in the third quarter to build a 10 point lead and that would have been all she wrote last year. This team of nobodies reached down and overcame a 4th quarter 10 point deficit to win by 6. Well okay!

We have so much draft capital and cap space--> I'm pretty excited to see what they do with it. I don't imagine we'll win the draft sweepstakes this year-- it'll be someone like Houston or the Kings who will ruin the #1 pick's career-- but there are enough solid dudes in the draft that we can make a deep team. Ainge grabbing Markkenen and Kessler were very clairvoyant moves. Hopefully he's got something else up his sleeve since we ditched Mike Copernicus Conley and Beasley with the hot hand for basically nothing.

I won't argue that the Kings aren't perfectly capable of ruining a high draft pick. But I went and watched them a couple of weeks ago in Kyrie's first game playing with Luka. They're actually a fun team to watch right now. They play hard, and De'aron Fox is a playmaker. Dude was getting to the paint at will and has such a nice little mid range floater. And Sabonis is a beast. A couple of more cogs in that machine and they could be a player in the west.

Jazz announce that games will once again air locally on KJZZ. They also announce a new production company that will create a subscription based app where anyone can watch all non-nationally broadcast games. No idea on the cost, but it has to be cheaper than League Pass.

That's very cool. I do like League Pass and it works fantastically, since I am not in Utah's market, but that's a great option for Jazz fans in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Utah who can't catch a *&^% game on TV because of blackouts.

edit: Also looking like streaming won't be available outside of a 150 mile radius of SLC. So looks like most out of staters are out of luck. League pass it is

Yeah I don't have a problem with League Pass, though. I had to sign my mom in Boise up for full-ass Dish streaming service to watch her precious Jazz games, though. This is quite a bit cheaper, but now she likes having Dish streaming.

So we have THT back, JC is back, and Olynyk is back. We also added John Collins from the Hawks for Rudy Gay and a 2nd round pick. I think we're about to be good this year, depending on how the rooks develop.
