Potential move to Draper – While I agree I'm not the biggest fan of this, following the money means that more businesses are in the Lehi / Draper corridor than downtown and if that makes it more available / accessible / permanent long term, so be it. I'd guess the majority of Jazz fans the trade off is either a "push" in terms of time / distance or reduces their commute. For those up north, it definitely sucks, but I can understand the thought process / rationale behind it.

Uniform re-brand. I know I'm in the minority, but the actual gear they've produced since has been so much better - save the CounterPoint line. Now the actual uniforms – I think there are some of those that it's just unfortunate because the potential is there.

Blowing up the team. You can't look at the return(s) that they got for Mitchell and Gobert and not have felt like it was 100% the right call. And some of the pieces they landed have been better than expected which has prevented the true "tank / rebuild" . Now, if you want to talk about moves that have backfired, letting Conley go to Minnesota wasn't a great one, because the T-Wolves have been better since the trade which has negatively impacted the Jazz assets.

I think as a small market team, you HAVE to go the asset collection route so you can trade for or draft the star players required. Honestly, Philly's "Process" took longer than they may have wanted it to, but they've been a top team in the East the last few years. Haven't won it all yet, but they're a team actually has a chance to do so. Oklahoma City – they're finally starting to see the returns and still have a ton of assets. So yeah, patience is key. Danny knows what he's doing as well as just about anyone else, so you've gotta trust that it'll play out.
Good points. My biggest issue with the potential move from downtown to Draper is how it's being framed as a move to accommodate hockey as opposed to the point you made regarding availability/accessibility. Because availability/accessibility really isn't a big issue for a team that's essentially had 100% attendance since they moved to Utah and one of the few small-market NBA teams with accessible public rail transportation. Downtown SLC has enough problems already without having to figure out what to do with a massive empty fixture taking up an entire city block.

Bro, it would only be empty 11 months of the year. Can you say Spirit Halloween Megastore?!

              • Jazz have been incredible the past month. On December 16 they were 9-17. A month later they're 22-20. Such an impressive job by Hardy and his staff. Makes me feel ridiculous for whining about dumb shit like uniforms.

                • I have been loving watching every game this past month. They are absolutely wrecking teams (aside from getting blown out in Boston). Sexton has really started to bring the energy and good things happen every time down the floor. Fonteccio is looking good and so is Dunn. Just a good, well-rounded team that plays together and shoots hot. We are already in the play-in and will soon take a regular playoff spot. People calling for Hardy's job in November look dumb because they are.

                    This is a fun run.

FTR, I liked those yellow/black unis from the get-go.

                    • Jazz game tonight postponed because of health episode of Warrior's assistant coach during the team dinner last night.

Yeah I don't remember any game being postponed bc of an assistant coach's health. Kind of weird, but if the Warriors need a mulligan, whatever...

I think given the reports that he had a heart attack in front of the team at a private dinner, it makes sense to postpone the game. Also, I hope none of this is true, but there are reports now that he has died.

Well, yeah. Of course a civil engineer would like a bright traffic stopping yellow.

                              • Woj confirmed that Dejan Milojevic has died. Only 46 years old. Sad situation and no way the game should be played tonight.
