Call me Kevin O'Conner because everytime he plays the Jazz he lights us up!Originally posted by The_Douger View PostIs Lawson even that good? I wouldn't give Favors for him.
His numbers seem to indicate he's worth the effort but again his asking price could be too much and Denver would never trade him to the Jazz anyway (unless they felt they received the better end of the deal)."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

Is Rondo really untouchable? Are all the offseason discussions just Ainge playing the GM game? The guy seems to be on the chopping block each offseason.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostIrving is untouchable. Rondo may be too. I think he's very close to untouchable. He does seem to be out there every off season because of his personality, but a move has never been close to getting done. Then he goes out and dominates the PG position with his playmaking, defense, rebounding and efficient scoring, and I think Ainge can't fathom losing him.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostIs Rondo really untouchable? I dunno. I think the Celts are drinking the kool-aid this year. He's not untouchable, but I don't think Utah has anyone on its roster for whom Boston would trade Rondo.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostRondo is not untouchable. There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

The jazz have guys on their roster that almost every team would want. And they have a ton of attractive combinations. They could have put together a better package for dwight than anyone else was offering. Grantland speculated that they were probably one of the first teams contacted about harden. I don't think desirable pieces is the issue. Everything else is probably the issue. So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

He's arguably the best PG in the league and he is still young. He's a pain in the ass, but he's a pita who wins his team a lot of games.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostRondo is not untouchable. Was this a response to my post? Because it doesn't address what I posted at all.Originally posted by MarkGrace View PostThe jazz have guys on their roster that almost every team would want. I don't think there's an argument that he's the best pg in the league. I like him, but I wouldn't give up a ton for him.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostHe's arguably the best PG in the league and he is still young. If they were contacted, they should have done all they could to get him. biggest hole on this team is a shooter who can create his own shots.
