Nice win for the Jazz. I think they end up a 6 or 7 seed in the playoffs. Yeah they have no chance of making a deep run but I think it's still always better to be a playoff team.

I can't see the Jazz at 6. With all these roadies coming up, I think they'll have a serious fight just to get the 8 seed. And if it does get to the point where the playoffs don't look likely, it will be interesting to see what KOC dials up in terms of moving some currently key guys for a few building pieces.

My sons went to this game with their maternal Grandpa. The FIL gets tickets from his company as he retired as President and CEO and is now on the board of directors and the seats are a couple of rows behind the visitor bench. But I digress.

My youngest son called me sometime during the game and said "Dad, you're right. Kobe is a crybaby. He's sitting on the bench whining because the refs called a foul on him."

He called again later in the game. "Dad, the Lakers coach is a crybaby too. He had a hissy fit because the Jazz stole the ball from one of his players. He yelled at the ref and the ref kicked him out of the game."

He called a third time on the way to the parked car. "Dad, Grandpa is taking us to get ice cream. I hope their aren't any Laker fans around, because I'm tired of hearing people whining."
