  • A tale of 3 morons, starring: Karl Malone, Gordon Monson, and Greg Miller.

First Karl pretends to speak for Sloan when he doesn't have a clue. here:
    http://www.sltrib.com/sltrib/sports/...tml.csp?page=1
And Gordon Monson print it all without doing any reporting work whatsoever. He flatly lies by claiming that he asked Phil Johnson about it.

Phil Johnson comes out in support of the Jazz organization's story and saying that Karl doesn't know what he is talking about.

Then the idiot trust fund baby Miller takes personal offence and like any child would do, publishes a lengthy blog post documenting every minor slight Malone ever showed him here:
    http://www.greginutah.com/

We learn that Malone, a few days after a friendly meeting with Miller, cancelled a lunch. We learn that Malone was once late for an autograph signing.

I am concerned that Greg Miller will destroy the Jazz organization just because he is an idiot. Why would he make that post? And also calling Malone a "liar" on twitter. What benefit from attacking one of the statutes? We've always know of Malone's shortcomings. But we also know that Larry and Karl were good friends. If Greg wants to respond with a simple defense stating the facts as they are, fine. Do that. What kind of adult, let alone professional and magnate goes around publishing such petty diatribes? Moron!

You don't do that. You let Sloan respond, as he did in defense of the Jazz. End of story.

And back to Monson. There was absolutely nothing new in the story he published. Malone said the same things last year and everybody knew that Malone was full of crap. Malone doesn't want to believe Sloan is a quitter, but the fact is that he is. At least as Malone apparently defines it.

    • Karl, I’m not sure where or how our relationship became so sour. I wish it was otherwise. I’m sorry if I’ve offended you in any way. I’d love to do whatever I can to mend the fence and make you feel welcome at Jazz games. I would love to have you as an ambassador for the Utah Jazz. You have a standing invitation to do both.
I especially loved this bit. The funny thing is that I don't doubt any of the things Greg said in his post. Totally unnecessary though. Make every attempt to write off Karl as a lazy, entitled prick and then offer a half-assed apology almost as a means of justification. "I usually take the high road..." Give me a break.

      • Greg is a total douche. I've been very unimpressed with him.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

        • You know what has been impressive about Kanter? That he is able to play a pretty physical style and is never in foul trouble. Almost all young bigs struggle with fouls, and he just hasn't.

          • Bynum moves like he's at least ten years older than he actually is.

Kanter plays a smart, fundamentally sound game, especially on the defensive end. A pleasant surprise, to be sure.

              • I tuned in late...is Burks hurt tonight (tweaked an ankle or knee in the last game) or just out of the rotation?

                • I was hoping Hayward was figuring it out since he's averaged 15/3/3 on good percentages over his last 5, but he's doing the disappearing act again tonight.

How strong is he? Sheesh. I find myself constantly in awe of that frame and strength on a 19 year old. Bynum was posting up Jefferson early and getting his first touch on an entry pass about 2-3 feet from the hoop every time. Kanter comes in and Bynum's setting up several feet further out on the floor and giving up on half the possessions because he can't move Kanter an inch. Bynum got loose for a couple hoops, but overall Kanter did a really nice job on him.

                        • Poo vs. Sap is such a funny matchup to watch. It's like two-way abuse. Poo dominates Sap with his length, and then Sap just comes right back and blows him away with this quickness.
