Truly incredible. at the end of the game the teams leader in points and rebounds did not play in the fourth quarter or in overtime and was never close to being found trouble. that's gotta be some kind of record.Originally posted by Blueintheface View PostDid Derrick have sex with Ty's wife at halftime?
but I only wish that were the worst coaching decision in the game. much worse by far is the fact the Marvin Williams et al totally destroyed the first and third quarters, and that the teams best player, Gordon Hayward, can't get into the game until the third quarter is much more than halfway over.

Honestly, I want the Jazz to miss the playoffs at this point.
I don't want this stupidity that Corbin is shoving down our throats to be rewarded. The Jazz seem to think they're smarter than everyone else in the room. They think they're playing the vets and developing the kids at the same time, while sitting the guy who kept you in the game the whole 4th q and OT. It's just absurd.
I don't want the ownership group and front office rewarded with playoff game money when they've sold us this crappy product the whole season. Anyone with eyes can see the younger guys need more time. Will donate kidney for B12 membership.

Hot damn the officials were poor in that one. Brutal stuff on both ends. It was like they were pissed they had to be in Milwaukee so they were going to make it miserable for everyone else.
Remember that old "highlight" video of Cap'n Crunch Palacio where he just bungled around the court for 60 seconds? I really wish something similar could be put together to help us remember Corbin's coaching skills. "Close game...what do we do...um, can't toss it into Al so which guy that is on the court has the most experience? Millsap. Okay, just got to him no matter what." With 14 seconds left and down 3, I thought it'd be funny if Corbin drew up a play giving the ball to Millsap like he'd done the last 10 times down the court. But then I remembered Corbin being an idiot isn't funny when that is exactly what they did.
How pissed off is Favors tonight? He plays what had to be an incredibly frustrating game against Charlotte when no doubt he wanted to have a big game. But instead of sulking or coming out less aggressive tonight he decides he's going to absolutely own the glass and converts about 5 of his offensive rebounds into buckets. And his reward is to go back to cheerleading.
It was good to see that Brandon Jennings's agent told him about Utah's philosophy of giving out huge deals to players that have huge nights against them. But I thought Burks had some incredible on-ball defense against one of the quickest guys in the league. And Kanter's play where he pulled up in the lane off the SnR the possession after being called for the charge was huge. That is a tough play for a big, especially a young kig, and especially after running the exact same play several times in a row and the defense adjusting how they were playing it. Great recognition on his part and then the nice finish on the pull-up floater.
