I have really enjoyed watching this team in the pre-Season. I think it has 95% to do with Snyder. He has won me over. The team is fun to watch I hope that translates to wins this year but not banking on it. But I will be watching nonetheless.

( FYI I most likely wrote that incoherently and will be properly corrected forthwith. Thanks)

Agreed. But Burks' Rolando Blackman is going to look great next to Hayward's Brandon Roy.

      Because no Corbin.

        In 36 minutes, Roy averaged 17 ppg on 46% FGs, 37% 3pt on 13 shots, 4 rebs, 4 assists.

You are either romanticizing Roy's production or underrating Burks or both, because even with Burks playing less minutes, those numbers are close.

I'm just more excited about the fact that Tyrone Corbin isn't going to be the coach. It's nice to have someone new that isn't a Jerry Sloan disciple. I hope we shoot a lot more three pointers.

Going to the Cougar tipoff tonight so I'll watch it late but hope springs eternal.

I expect total domination from the Jazz.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

It's a new era. We'll see if this team has learned that fouling is not defense.

Nice of BYU to let Jeff Pendergraph go off on them that night.

Still bitter about that and how the game ended. The refs will get their reward in Hell but I want to pay two small children to hold him down (because apparently that's all it takes to knock him over) while I shave that damn beard.

I love early R&B. His self-titled 1977 album was an absolute classic.

Was everyone too embarrassed to post their game thoughts? Too worried about MG's wrath at drawing conclusions based upon 1 game? I'm not.

                                The good: pace of play
The bad: pace of play with a young turnover-prone group

I also thought Hood was suprisingly active defensively. Not bad for a Dookie. Fun to watch the guys making extra passes and space the floor. Interesting to watch the offense start from the wings at times which is something Slorbin would never have allowed. I loved the 1st quarter when instead of the traditional PnR it was the big stopping at the elbow/free throw line to take the pass and shooting while set. They never really got back into that groove they had early on.

I know it was Dwight Howard but Enes Kanter will never learn to play defense. That ship has sailed all the way to Instanbul. He repeatedly stared into the eyes of the player opposite him and as if Medusa herself had just gazed upon him and quickly turned to stone.

                                Rockets are good, btw.
