I'm watching the BYU/Pacific game on the conference website. I wish Rose would pull Emery from the game when he shoots those 27-footers in transition.

That's twice Childs has been called for those stupid fouls on the outside when they're switching on the screen.

Haws the leading scorer at halftime. Announcers talking up his talent.

Does that technical on Haws for grabbing the rim count as a personal?

Nice to dominate on the road for a change with a good defensive effort.

I hope Nick is OK. Looked like it wasn't too serious.

Haws had a very nice game. Beo looked terrible.

Dude only got 3 rebounds. Huge mistake by Rose recruiting him. He should ride the pine!

Is that a mandatory technical, or discretionary?

It looked unintentional the way he tapped the rim while touching the ball.

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

His game thawed a little, and against Pacific no less. Woo Hoo this team is headed to the big dance!

BYU favored by 4 at SCU tonight. Sagarin would predict a 6 pt win for BYU after factoring in home court for SCU. Sagarin and the Vegas lines are usually pretty close to each other. I think BYU actually wins by a little more than that tonight. They out-performed both the line and Sagarin in the Pacific game. I think we're getting better on the road.

This is an away game and Emery may be hampered.

I was planning on working late and then dropping by the Leavey Center for the game but hadn't bought a ticket. Out of the blue, I just got a phone call from the SCU ticket center, telling me that they see I've attended BYU games in the past and would I like to attend tonight's game? "Sure, I'd like to sit close behind the BYU bench, if possible." Voila, they sent me a ticket three rows behind the bench. True, I had to give them my credit card info over the phone (what can go wrong?), but I'm set. Either that, or there's someone in Nigeria with excellent American English skill who will be eating very well this evening. If legit, this was a pretty cool and effective marketing move.

You can check for yourself if I got screwed. I'll be wearing a blue/brown checked shirt, and maybe a blue sweater vest with a BYU logo, gray hair, glasses, and perhaps a look of "Why did I come?" if the Cougs get off to a slow start.

You mean the 234-9 telephone number prefix didn't give you a clue?

Thanks for letting us know. I now have a strong interest in watching instead of watching the Jazz. I want to see if you are aging well
