I haven't seen Haws before tonight. I like what I see so far.

2.) I think TJ Haws has the skill set to be a good PG at this level. I also think that one of the most humiliating things future opponents are going to have to emotionally come to terms with is having "The Ginger Mamba" destroy them. Red haired, freckled, skinny and prematurely balding....not to mention a youtube video out there I am sure of him breaking down into tears when his older brother began their religiously mandated cultural coming of age event. I can think of nothing more ignominious than watching that kid tear apart my team, but alas many will have to find a way to come to terms with it over the next few years.

Dang, just watching the BYUtv replay and the kid is pretty good, receding hairline and all.

Its not just that Haws is skinny, gimger, and balding. He has bad posture amd his gait is a little awkward. But that crossover though!

It may take until mid January for this team to hit their stride, but man we have some weapons.

Lots of work to do. We ran a lot of people through our sets against spu but even so, needed better execution. Many of the guys are slow in picking up the offense. Same with the D. We showed a lack of ability to move to the correct defensive position as a unit. Work to do.

Yeah, defense was disappointing.

I don't like lag man defense with full switching on screens against a team that lacks size. It was tough to watch.
