What's wrong with this solution to the NBA age requirement.

Have the players stay 2 years in college. If they are good enough they can be drafted after the 1st year and sign a contract, but they can't receive any money until the next draft date where they will be paid their first years salary not even having played a game professionally yet. This will be solve a lot of concerns on either side of the equation where a player won't lose money by injury by staying in school, and the NBA team gets a more polished player. The tweeners will have to stay in school and possibly improve their draft status.

Sounds great. I know a lot of employers that would be ok paying someone millions to do work for someone else.

Looks like nobody else wanted Berger and Stone. Both end up at BYU-Hawaii along with Ian Harward who has decided to make a comeback after sitting out last year with a serious back injury.

On the other hand, BYU-HI may have a really good team again. It still bums me out they're getting rid of sports.

He has only been in college 2 years. I think he would have to redshirt. He went to SUU as a true freshman. Transferred after his mission to USU and I think for some reason he was instantly eligible at USU. So he has been in college two years and played hoops for two years. I doubt he has graduated yet. BYU would be his 3rd stop. He is an RM and from his USU bio a business admin/accounting major. So if he goes bald prematurely, has a large adams apple and is able to squeeze out a tear on cue while busting out: "Dear Lord who hears and answers prayers, please on this day send Thy spirit from above, as this Thy son accepts a call from thee, help him we pray to learn to humility....protect him from all worldly ways, and always send thy spirit when he prays, give him the courage of a righteous man, dear Lord keep him in the hollow of thy hand! In the hollow of thy hand, as he grows from boy to man let his understanding deepen and increase....." it couldn't be more stereotypical. So my guess is the dude is down withe mo ladies and if he comes to BYU will walk on for a year while redshirting and then get a scholie for his junior and senior years. I think having him and Jamaal Aytes manning the 4 is a very good situation for BYU. Especially considering the formidable duo of Isaac Nelson and Luke Worthington manning the 5. I mean if that shit can't get you excited, I don't know what could!

Apparently Stu and AD Barnes at USU won't give him a release from his scholarship to transfer to BYU so he will have to pay his own way for a year.
