It's crazy to look at that map. Back in the late 90s there were 5 missions that were, for the most part, in France (Paris, Bordeaux, Geneva, Marseilles and Brussels). Now there are only two. The Lyon mission will have some incredible areas with the alps and wine country. Paris would be even better now than it was in the 90s now that it has the Loire river valley and parts of Belgium.

Sadly, the same has happened to Germany and German-speaking countries. In the 90s, we had Hamburg, Berlin, Dresden, Duesseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich, Vienna, and Zurich. Now 3: Berlin, Frankfurt and Alpine (Munich, Austria, Switzerland).

Oh yeah. That was created after my time, but you are right. Apparently, it existed from 1994 to 2003. Split off from Dresden and later merged into Berlin.

Nice. That should give him plenty of time to get ready for his freshman year after returning.
