KC needs to work on finishing around the basket.

Yes and if he could make his foul shouts when he gets fouled. He did better last night. Still I love watching him play. Man, if he could shoot like Haws........ Nevermind if he could he probably would be playing for Duke or someone like that.

On a certain play last night, Mika made a nice drop step move and scored while being fouled. It was nice that he finished through some contact, but I wondered why that shouldn't have been a drop-step finished with a dunk. We know the kid can jump, and the drop step dunk is only for really good players, but I thought that's what he was. Too tired late in the game? Not used to powering up for a finish? I don't think the contact made much difference. I'd like to see him attacking the rim a little more aggressively.

I must have said that 10 times last night. Way too athletic and explosive to miss so badly with little-to-no contact. I see him make those moves to easily get around his man from about 10 feet with a clear path to the basket and I'm always expecting an explosion but instead I get a meager off-balance missed layup.

I liked seeing him come to his teammate's defense last night but he needs a LOT more nasty in him.

After the game with Barney Wrubbell he said he is just now feeling like he can jump off of one foot like back in July??

Did he have some problem prior to last fall or perhaps I misunderstood him.

Still wish Haws was more like Smart. 3-13 in a loss to Baylor today.

I hope Haws can do that well tonight.

You wouldn't love it as much if you lived on the east coast and had 9:00 AM Church.

Isn't this game big enough for its own game thread? (though I guess that is tough with home games)

I started getting ticked off when they showed the ending of last year's game during the Pacific broadcast. BYUTV should never replay highlights like that. I want to kill these guys.

It would be pretty sweet to finally beat these guys. That loss last year absolutely crushed the rest of our year. We need some payback.
