If they handed those out for free to all in attendance, I could see myself wearing it to the gym or maybe to wash a car or to work in the yard on a cool day. I could also see these being appropriate giveaways when signing up for a new credit card, or possibly as t-shirt cannon ammunition for lesser events like pre-season basketball or the spring football game.Fitter. BYU women lose against UConn 51-70. They had a lead for most of the first half, had a brief lead in the second but then UConn got a bunch of turnovers, Cougs didn't make shots and it was over.
BYU played them well, but didn't quite have enough ball control. Still a commendable showing. They were a 33 point underdog today. Moral victories don't count but the Cougars still showed some fight."Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."

Juddy coaches the women well. They lost a little composure when UConn got the turnovers. An athlete or two more and Juddy could take the ladies higher. Unlike the men where the talent pool is very deep, the women don't seem to have as deep a pool in coaches and athletes, so a program like BYU could make a dent with a few more athletes or in this case better ball control. Overall, it was great to see them take the fight to the Huskies. The ladies did not look out of their league at all. Juddy now has two Sweet Sixteen appearances. They didn't shrink. The talent and depth of the Huskies finally caught up to BYU in the end. The men could have learned a thing or two from watching the women. One thing that they really need to address is ball control. Pressure really bothers them.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View Post

They gain two six footers, but Hamson will not be replaced. One thing about Juddy is he succeeds with whatever talent he has. He will need to work on ball control against pressure to elevate the women's program.
