Makes me wonder if that quote has something to do with him realizing they may have missed badly on Worthington. I don't know everybody who is on scholarship, but that is one who comes to mind that Rose simply can't afford to have on the floor and really hasn't shown any signs of being a D1 player.Originally posted by Jacob View PostDave Rose said something like this the other day: "We need to do a better job of filling our roster with guys who are able to contribute." Sounds like he recognizes that there is a lot of dead weight in the program. This is why we don't need to worry about how many scholarships are available for guys like Aytes right now. Rose can make a couple of schollies available at any time he wants.I'm like LeBron James.

Let's be honest. Luke hasn't shown signs of being a basketball player on any level, including intramurals or rec league. I'm still doubtful that he played organized ball in HS.Originally posted by smokymountainrain View PostMakes me wonder if that quote has something to do with him realizing they may have missed badly on Worthington. Yes I get the jab, but do you find his hops amazing, his quickness stunning, or his agility amazing?Originally posted by New Mexican Disaster View PostHaws has an amazing midrange gam.e.
For a role player. Sorry, I can't let it go.
He can shoot, and he is a reliable free throw shooter. And his mid-range game is a throw back to older days. In close near the basket, he is not amazing unless he is fouled. I believe he would be a better player, if he had a Jabari up front and a Tyler Ennis or Marcus Smart at point."Guitar groups are on their way out, Mr Epstein."
Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

He's 6'4". I'd say most guys 6'4" aren't great near the basket unless they are fouled. Also, FTR, he's averaging 8 FTs a game this year, so he does a pretty damn good job at getting himself fouled and to the line when he is near the basket.Originally posted by Topper View PostYes I get the jab, but do you find his hops amazing, his quickness stunning, or his agility amazing?

I'm not sure what your point is about playing with Jabari, Ennis and Smart, but who wouldn't be better playing with guys like that?I'm like LeBron James.
