Exactly. Utah is a dumpster fire. UCLA is one of the top programs in the country. A few bad seasons doesn't change that. Howland will have the program back. They may be back as earlier as next year. With this recruiting class it is a top 25 team and potentially a top 10 team. Miller is a great coach and will get Arizona back on track.

I'm looking forward to Pac-12 basketball coming back. It is a shame that Hill screwed up the coaching hire by not getting Gottfried so Utah can't be part of the revival of the Pac-12.

Howland has never squandered talent, once he gets good players not garbage like Kevin Love, Darren Collison, Russel Westbrook, and Luc Richard Mmmm bop a Moute taking up four spots on the same team I am sure he will start winning titles.

Maybe, but as I said, he had the top class in 2008. They didnt even win the PAC that year. You could be right. I won't hold my breath, the world is better when the bruins are failing.

Exactly. I don't understand how Howland landed this class with his style of play. Howland Hoops is miserable basketball on every level. When the kids come out early and succeed on the next level most are shocked by the success because of the lack of success at the college level.

One could argue that Howland did a nice job of preparing them for the next level. The counter argument is that these premier talents would succeed at the next level from any number of college programs and that Howland actually causes them to be drafted lower than they should be. (Except for Russell Westbrook, where the OKC scouts did an excellent job of looking past his college experience.)

With this recruiting class they should be what Kentucky was this year. They will underachieve.
