I'm sure you think giving up an average of 80 points per game -- something no Utah team has come close to doing in the shot clock era -- is a strong indicator that the players are giving it their all.

I'm sure in four years after K. flames out, you'll try and pass off your glowing reviews of him like you did Boylen. It's amazing you think you still have any credibility in talking hoops. If anything, your nonsensical attacks on me add to my credibility, because everyone knows you're hopelessly full of shit on anything related to Utah athletics.
You hated Majerus during the zenith of his time at Utah. Speaks volumes.
When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Those two players were late pickups. You know, guys that are "always around"? Yet you're looking forward to seeing them get more minutes? Make up your fucking mind already on the potential of players signed late.

Like everything else you say, a complete and utter fabrication.

What do Utah athletic tickets and "My Life on a Napkin" have in common? Seattle Ute never bought either.

Majerus' time to go was when he started running good players like Marc Jackson. Hell, I even defended Majerus after probation. So take your shit and go shine your shoes with it.

So now you're saying that K did make good use of the two weeks he had to recruit?

Shall I go to Utefans and fin your posts in February 2011 saying Hill shouldn't fire Boylen?

I may have played devil's advocate a time or two in expressing such an opinion about Boylen, but if you're mistaking me for a Boylen apologist, it's no wonder you're so wrong on my sentiments toward Rick Majerus. Really, you can score this Top Ute KO 1 right now if you're trying to paint me with that brush.

Name one good player who left his program besides Jackson, in 14 years. NAME ONE. The others all washed out of the sport, and Jackson came back.

Sounds like you're the one who's backpedaling. You're the one talking out of both sides of your mouth.

What's it matter if he had two weeks or two months? If the players are around (and they are) and he hires coaches that actually have experience in recruiting D-1 players (at he didn't, at least with his lead assistant), then we should end up with better players than Farr, Martin and Dawson, neither of whom could shine Jiggy's Under Armor's.

There wasn't one, you asshat. That's why I said Maji's sell-by date had come, when he started running off good players.

Jackson came back under Giacoletti. Had Rick stayed around another season, we might have lost Bogut. I'd say Rick's time had run its course at the absolute right time.

Devil's advocate is a fancy name for troll. All you do is bellyache, in this infuriatingly pompous long winded way. At least mpfunk is kind of a sweetheart.

Yeah, we would have lost Bogut, just like Utah secretly settled an ADA claim by the Allreds. Talk about utter fabrications. Even as you admit that no good player Ajerus recruited left before his eligibility was up (except Bogut).
