Seriously, no one wondered why Clyburn and Watkins were still available so late in the season after Bolyen's previous three year's work walked out on him, notwthstanding that they were JUCOs?

By the time the history of this is written, Boylen will be Neville Chamberlain and Mussolini combined in Ute basketball history.

I hope we all disregard TopUte's idiotic rambings about the team "quitting", allegations that "good players are always around" (citing Watkins and Clyburn as examples!), as well as his character assasinations of Majerus. The question is, could the other Coach K do any better with this team?

I'm looking forward to Storey, Odunsi and Matthews getting thrown on the front line.

I always find it amusing when BYU fans rip on Loveridge or question his interest in winning when BYU went thru the same things years ago and good players decided to go to BYU and try to turn things around.

I am sure Loveridge likes the idea of lots of playing time...I just love that he is willing to try and help turn things around for the Utes. It has to start somewhere and I am appreciative of players willing to take on a huge load and bring back winning to Utah.

I don't know how long it will take or if Krysto is the guy to fix it. However, this is college basketball, 2-3 good impact recruits and Utah is back in the dance in 2 years. This isn't football things can be turned around fast. Maybe Loveridge believes that Krysto can do that.

What did Carlon Brown ever really do to show that he isn't accountable? The only thing that I see with Brown is that he wasn't developed by his awful coach.

For example: I was told the coaches would tell brown Brown during a time out to do "X," and he'd go out on the floor and do what he wanted to. Then he'd get to stay in the game. That kind of nonsense was the real crime of the Boylen era, IMO. Everything stems from that. Even player development can be tied to absence of discipline and accountability.

LA is correct. From everyone that I have heard, Brown was brutal in terms of chemistry. He ran his own plays. He did his own thing. He didn't care as long as he got his.
