Just don't see a freshman doing that. Last freshman to average 15ppg for Utah was Keith Van Horn. Like it or not, I think Jiggy will probably be the high scorer for the team and I think he will probably get around 15 a game.

Does anyone know if Utah has a local TV deal with KJZZ or someone, because like 5 games are scheduled to be on TV that most people actually get (FSN/ROOT Sports). Then there's two on HDNet that nobody gets, and nobody gets The Mtn. in Utah anymore against Boise State.

It's actually pretty hilarious that BYU has every game aside from maybe 1 or 2 the whole season on TV, while the Utes' look empty, although I realize this probably won't be an issue once the PAC-12 Mountain and PAC-12 National Network come into play.

I am sure Kjzz will pick up a lot of those conference home games that don't have anything assigned to them yet.

Also if you have directv you get HDnet, Root sports and the MTN with the sports pack.

I find it hilarious that The Mtn. STILL isn't on Dish Network at all lol. We have Dish, and actually it's really cheap for America's Top 200, but it sucks not getting Versus or Boise State on The Mtn.

Ok, some updated thoughts on the team. They have A LOT of work to do. The offense is a bit of a mess as each player feels that they need to turn it over a few times a game. The defese seems solid but they get lost at times leading to easy baskets.

Jiggy and Hines were both below average. At least Hines can blame his injury on it. Jiggy is all over the place.

Cedric Martin continues to do some dumb stuff, but I am surprised by how solid he is right now. I was not expecting it. He looks like Deron Williams, minus about 20 pounds. Good defense though.

Kareem Storey will be a player. He can get to the hoop. Strong kid and he has some of that street ball player in him still. Anthony Odunsi is also fun to watch and can get to that hoop.

So, basically the best new three guys all play the guardline along with Jiggy and Hines. Something has to give.

Brad Wilkinson is also a tough, wait, who? Wilkinson out of Bountiful, Utah. If the Utes had a bunch of terrific scorers, he would be a nice addition to the team to provide hustle but he can't do a whole lot offensively. But, he gets some rebounds, a block here or there and some chasing down balls.

I really want to like Dijon Farr. He has the body and the hustle and he seems to be able to shoot, but something is still missing.

Washburn looks lost out there. You keep expecting him to make the jump to being a real good player. We may still be waiting after his senior year. Foster got injured, but it is nice to see him looking to score. With that said, sometimes it isn't nice to see him looking to score.

5 wins is probable...10 wins would be a miracle. Still, I am more interested and excited about this team than I was for the past 2 Boylen teams.

Ben Carter chooses Oregon over Utah and UNLV.

Seven days after Bishop Gorman teammate Rosco Allen ended his lengthy recruitment by committing to Stanford, 6-foot-8 Gaels senior power forward Ben Carter chose Oregon over UNLV and Utah.

Still mad at Boylen for leaving the cupboard empty. Why did he think he'd be able to jettison the entire team, start fresh, and still win games?

That is when I lost all faith in him. I can tolerate ups and downs. But to lose the entire team and just keep on losing, that deserved no room for error.

This is why you should be singing Boylen's praises.

Sleeping with the enemy will do strange things to a "person." If she were a man I would likely call her a pussy, even knowing beforehand that she is a daughter of Hagoth. But alas, with me chivalry just ain't dead!

Ego. He thought he could replace Brown and Henderson with Clyburn and Jiggy and not lose much. Problem is he never recruited bigs that could play defense and/or rebound. He set the program back 3 years.
