      • Good thing it wasn't Brock Zylstra. I can only imagine the concern for that young mans education and long term spirtual welfare....

          Meh. That wasn't that bad.

          • Am I paranoid if my first reaction was to check byucougars.com to see if there really was a news release first or Dick Harmon painted BYU into a corner?

I use to be called Danny when I was little, when it is my turn.

I'd feel the same way. It's not the same so I wouldn't feel the same I guess but it's the same principle. I feel the same way about the kids whose life you and thousands of other bishops devastate in the name of raising the bar.

                  • Why am I afraid that this is the sound of all of the Jimmer interest/goodwill that has been generated this season disappearing in a puff of smoke.

                    • Could he possibly still play in the post season? They said 2010-2011 basketball season, but didn't clarify regular or post or anything, so I feel like they could end up letting him play the postseason without retracting their original statement. Is there a grasping at straws emoticon?

dunno, thought this was pretty awful.

For many, regardless of how BYU plays tomorrow night, or Saturday, or next week in Las Vegas, or in the NCAA Tournament... "The Story" of this team is no longer the sweep of SDSU, the national ranking, the potential 1 seed, or anything else. "The Story" is now about a player that jeopardized his and his team's fortunes.
That's only the story if you feel that the HC is just.

Knock it off. This board has enough problems without a dose of middle-age lechery.

And 100% accurate and correct in their dealings at all times. No chance for a mistake. This is all Davies' fault, etc. All without knowing a damn thing about what happened. "BYU said so" is good enough. Some "journalist"

If this surprises anyone I am surprised. Wrubbell is a good play by play buy. If you are looking for him to be anything but a PR for the BYU position you will be sorely dissapointed over and over again.
