They were not a bubble team. No way. Utah did not affect that. you need to know more than the latest bracketology.Originally posted by woot View PostDo try to keep up. ESPN had them at last four in and first four out at different points of the season. As late as 2 games ago they were still in the conversation.
Granted, losing to a ridiculous excuse for a team like Utah, even if it was on a fluke last-second shot, has most definitely sealed their fate. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.

Dear lord,
As you know I do not ask for much, and I probably deserve very little, but I may consider returning to church if you would put this team out of its misery.

lol had New Mexico beaten Utah it would have been 18-9 overall and 6-6 in the MWC and fifth place, two games behind UNLV. So, you think that a fifth place MWC team would have been an NCAA qualifier? It's never ever happened and would not in a million years. If you believe that it would have this year with this New Mexico team you're a moron. Regardless, you have exposed yourself as a charlatan.Originally posted by woot View PostYou're welcome to hold to your wrong opinion, but you're not welcome to invent your own facts. Any concern over the PG being able to gain so much weight while playing a full basketball season, especially given his weight history?

TCU is last in the conference in points per game allowed (71). Utah has 34 with 8 minutes left.Last edited by BoylenOver; 02-22-2011, 09:47 PM."I don't know the origin of said bitch booming."-Art Vandelay

SU, I don't mean to continue to harp on this, but you really do seem to have a blind spot for sports of any kind. They were 17-7 and "last four in", then they lost to a good CSU team (which is, this very moment, on the bubble), and were then "last four out". Then they lost at SDSU, which surprised nobody, and to Utah, which surprised a lot of people.Originally posted by SeattleUte View Postlol had New Mexico beaten Utah it would have been 18-9 overall and 6-6 in the MWC and fifth place, two games behind UNLV. Why do you think you're right about this? Why would you stoop to name-calling when you're so objectively and demonstrably wrong about this? When will you realize that you just suck at talking about sports?

So what. They were in the pre-season bracket. I know I'm right that they were out before Utah beat them which was what Il Padrino believed. You yourself just admitted that they were on the bubble before losing to CSU; in fact, not only did they just lose to CSU, they are three games behind CSU in teh standings. It's not debatable; UNM was not a bubble team when Utah beat it, which is what Il Padrino said. So, why don't you stop arguing to the contrary, even while conceding my point? You are the one who's been the name caller from the start, even while arguing a point that you yourself concede without realzing it.Originally posted by woot View PostSU, I don't mean to continue to harp on this, but you really do seem to have a blind spot for sports of any kind. Go ahead and cling to your delusion, but the MWC will not send five teams to the NCAA tournament this year. Likely not more than two. When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.
