I really wonder about this one. I don't know much about him. I've seen Bountiful play a few times over the past year and honestly never even noticed this kid or knew he was a big recruit. Bountiful and Sky View played an epic game in the state finals and Jalen Moore and Sam Merrill, two USU recruits, were by far the two best players on the court that game.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostByu lands bountiful forward Zac Seljaas. This kid can light it up he hit 8 threes in the semis of his recent AAU tournament in Vegas.

He was only a soph last year and averaged 15 per. He also had offers from Utah, Utah st. And USF all before his jr. year. All of those coaches see something.Originally posted by jay santos View PostI really wonder about this one. I don't know much about him. Oh. He'll be a junior. That makes more sense. I thought he was a year older. I looked up his stats and see that he scored 15 a game. I'm not necessarily questioning his ability just wondering why I never noticed him before. I guess I got distracted by the huge, lerpy Pollard brothers.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostHe was only a soph last year and averaged 15 per. He also had offers from Utah, Utah st. From his AAU highlight he has a nice stroke. I like that he can put his body between the ball and the defender and get to the hole as well. Shot 48% from 2 and 38% from 3. Not bad for a sophomore. Plus if he is a legit 6'7 it'd be nice to see if he can add an inch or two.Originally posted by jay santos View PostOh. He'll be a junior. That makes more sense. I thought he was a year older. This kid gets it and understands his role at the next level. He said his game is best suited for a Dave Rose offense. If he can get to 6'8 or 6'9 and play the stretch 4 he will could put up huge numbers at BYU.Originally posted by Surfah View PostFrom his AAU highlight he has a nice stroke. This is not Stillman White. It is Cole Payne a 6'3 kid from Orem that is headed to SUU on a football scholarship. Kevin Nixon was his coach at Orem and just tweeted out the video. He is in the Dallas-Fort Worth mission. Nixon said he has a 36" vert.Originally posted by Surfah View Post*Banned*
