Manhattan is 5 hours away. Sure the Kansas State line in close and I'm sure most of the alumni don't live in the Little Apple, but won't Kansas have more of a following there? Who will the Kansas fans cheer for?

Maybe KSU is little bro enough that Kansas fans will cheer for them.

At any rate, it's not like the players can sleep in their own bed the night before.

I hardly consider it "essentially a home game"
No way. KU would never root for KSU. Trust me, when we play KSU there is going to be a lot of blue that doesn't belong to BYU cheering for us.

Maybe not a traditional in-your-own-stadium home game, but just think how many BYU fans would show up to a NCAA game in Vegas? 5 hours is a day trip for a lot of people.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

A day trip to Vegas is a hell of a lot more exciting than a day trip to OKC. Then again Manhattan to OKC is a huge upgrade.

Easy there, junkie. I breathed my first breaths in The Little Apple.

I can see the Vegas comparison except that I doubt there are as many KSU alumni in OKC as BYU in LV. There are also plenty of member (non-alumni) fans in Vegas, too.

Were the tournament games played in Vegas in December essentially a home game for BYU? I don't know. They should have been with the LV Bowl going on as well.

Just look at the ESPN front page and there is a lot of talk about SU. Apparently they are worried about my health, though. My health just fine!

Not too unlike your post at all. An island unto yourself. And who did "they run right to the Sweet 16" through?

Good. If Florida is like Arizona, we should win by 30. Great to see.

forgive for using numbers, su, i know it makes me moronic. i'd draw a picture with crayons on construction paper if i had a scanner.

You realize that if Florida were a pool they'd be the shallow end of the kiddie pool, right? They go 1 deep, 2 if Billy is feeling frisky.

Depth is overrated in the NCAA playoffs. A lot of good coaches like to find their core 6-7 man rotation and pretty much stick to it.
