I'm with SU on this. Rogan has given a platform to a bunch of shady altright asshats and grifters. He peddles quack medicine and a huge sometimes cultish fanbase that eats it up. He is not evil, but is dumb as shit and every dmt trip, less of his already limited brainpower returns.
His reaction to 1/6 was pitiful. Now he is whining because the lice medicine he took for COVID hasn't been spoken of in more sacred terms.

Actually, the millenials that work for me have told me that it is nobody's business if they have been vaxxed or not. This is across the political spectrum including millenials that I previously perceived as having no political persuasion. And they are concerned that this requirement will force them back into the work place, as almost 100% of these younger employees at my company have chosen to flex work in the office 0% of the time. Our overseas employees want to know if they will be forced to vax if they visit a US office when they are not considered US employees.

Just my experience, not significant in the larger discussion. I think everyone should be vaxxed and I dont mind punishments for those that want to refuse, like not being able to attend school, or being directed to attend the unvaxxed school or church, or losing the right to watch movies, go to the zoo, or participate in the larger world of public life unless vaxxed. But I am troubled by the government forcing places of work to be the pincer point to enforce vaccinations. Why doesnt Biden say you cant have a drivers license if youre not vaxxed, or you have to pay a tax penalty if you're not vaxxed (like ObamaCare) or you can't vote if you're not vaxxed? Or you're not eligible for public assistance if not vaxxed? Or you're not eligible for hospital treatment if not vaxxed and you get covid? Why do employers have to be the ones to carry out public policy?

Not bad points, but they're doing this through the existing OSHA framework that governs standards of workplace safety. I'm not thrilled it's happening but mandating a vaccine or a covid test is hardly a msjor sacrifice to maintain a safe work environment. I am a Libertarian, but the Trumpist Republican bastardization of Libertarian ideas makes me want to

I don't think trying so hard to be the pro-covid party is a political winner nationally or in the swing districts they need to win Congress

Will the executive order mandate that employees that remote work need to be vaccinated? I’m not sure “workplace safety” counts when you work from home and no one is around for you to infect.

and why only large businesses? Are people that work for small businesses immune? Is this like restaurants where as long as you are seated you can’t spread Covid? Or if you are a governor you can eat indoors without spreading Covid?

as usual, Biden is three months late on taking action. This was needed three months ago when delta began to hit.

and this measure is half assed. We need everyone vaxxed. Not just a part of the population. Most large companies already have measures in place for workplace safety that are rigorous and effective. It’s the small businesses that need the regulation in place.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Yeah, the younger voters already had covid like three times and don't need the shot.

I guess they should let the supreme court rule on this...

Maybe because women work for only small businesses... And as Kamala Harris said, "The Right Of Women To Make Decisions About Their Own Bodies Is Not Negotiable."

While I think vaccine mandates are very rational and would save many lives, this is probably a dumb move politically. If this pandemic has taught us anything, it is that a big swath of our society is dumb enough to risk death rather than doing something simple when asked.

LOL... I guess the USPS said FU to Joe:

USPS exempt from Biden vax mandate for 100M workers

Neither rain, nor sleet … nor presidential proclamation.

President Biden on Thursday mandated COVID-19 vaccines for about 100 million US workers, but the more than 600,000 letter-carriers and administrative staff of the US Postal Service reportedly won’t have to get a shot.

A White House official confirmed the exemption to Washington Post postal reporter Jacob Bogage, adding that “we strongly encourage them to comply with these standards” anyhow.

It was not immediately clear why postal workers — who serve every community in the United States, often with daily door-to-door deliveries and contact with millions of Americans — would be exempted from new mandates that apply to most federal workers and companies with 100 or more staff.
